Rob Schneider is in talks to join frequent collaborator Adam Sandler in the comedy “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan.”
The Columbia Pictures project centers on a Mossad agent (Sandler) who fakes his death so he can move to New York and become a hair stylist. Schneider’s character is described as an East Yistannen cab driver.
Shooting will begin in the summer in Los Angeles and New York for a summer 2008 release.
Schneider, whose recent credits include “The Benchwarmers,” is in postproduction on his feature directorial debut, “Big Stan.” Sandler returns to theaters March 23 in “Reign Over Me.”
