The “Beverly Hills, 90210″ star – who has been embroiled in a feud with Candy since 2006 – started speaking to her mother again in September when they were hospitalized at the same time, and Tori insists things now couldn’t be better.
She told “E! Online”: “It’s just a blessing that it happened around the holidays. And it just makes me think, ‘Wow, it’s an amazing thing and it happened this year and it’s just the best gift we could get.’”
“We’re together as a family, and that’s the most important thing. We’re very lucky.”
The pair first fell out when Tori mocked her mother on her reality TV show “So NoTORIous” and the feud was then exacerbated after Tori’s late father and Candy’s deceased husband Aaron left his daughter a derisory amount in his will.
Candy, 64, recently said she was looking forward to a wonderful Christmas with her daughter and two grandchildren, Liam and Stella.
She said: “I’m looking forward to a lot of wonderful things. We have done this privately, which is what I’ve always wanted and I think so did Tori, and I’m really thrilled.”
