Shakira Set for ‘ThisDay Festival’

Singer Rihanna, Ne-Yo, John Legend and Shakira are set to perform at the second annual ‘ThisDay Festival’ in Lagos’.
The music icons will perform on 14th and 15th July in the Nigerian festival.
‘So Sick’ singer Ne-Yo is very excited about the event that will mark the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the transatlantic slave trade.
“I’ve heard nothing but good things, and can’t wait to get over there and give back some of the love that I’ve been given from over there,” Contactmusic quoted Ne-Yo, as saying.
“It’s an honour and a pleasure to even get the opportunity to visit, let alone perform,” he said.
Last year Beyonce Knowles, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliot, Ciara and Busta Rhymes performed at the festival.
