PINK: AMERICANS THINK I’M A PSYCHO

Pink says her fellow Americans think she is a ”psycho.”

The fiesty singer - who landed her first US number one with her new single “So What” - believes people in the States still consider her to be unhinged because of her turbulent life, despite phenomenal record sales.

She said: “No one could believe I was number one. They still think I’m a psycho back home. I just laugh and don’t pay attention.”

“I guess I’m pretty much all over the place. I’m pretty much in your face and that can work against me. People still don’t get me.”

However, the recently divorced 29-year-old star - who became involved with drugs at an early age before cleaning up her lifestyle - insists she leads a normal life.

She said: “I’m a regular person, I have a garden I like to relax in when I’m not working, I read books - it’s not all parties.”

Pink has now vowed to learn French after being inspired by the late singer Edith Piaf.

She added to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “I was listening to a lot of French music, old singers like Edith Piaf. It was inspiring.”

“I’m taking French classes and I’ve given myself the target of being fluent by the time I’m 35.”
