Paris Hilton Honored with ‘Hot’ Harvard Award

A fashionably late Paris Hilton declared Harvard to be “hot” Wednesday when she stopped by the world-famous university to pick up the Harvard Lampoon’s Woman of the Year award.

Hilton, after arriving about an hour later than scheduled, stood on the steps of the comedy magazine’s castle and told about 100 onlookers that “You guys rock. Harvard is hot!”

At one point the hotel heiress tried to dupe the crowd by telling them her on-again-off-again friend Nicole Ritchie was with her, before saying, “Just kidding.”

The presentation of the award to Hilton came one day before Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals planned to bestow their Woman of the Year award on actress Charlize Theron.

The hotel heiress has appeared on television and in movies, and is also an author, singer and perfume designer.
