Eva Mendes first experienced love at Disneyland.
The 34-year-old actress has revealed her heart was stolen by a handsome stranger while she was at the famous theme park.
Eva is quoted as saying: “I was about nine years old, waiting in line for Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride and I saw him as our line rounded the corner.”
But the “The Spirit” star – who was named the Most Desirable Woman of 2009 by website AskMen.com – confessed her first romance was a brief affair.
She said: “He looked at me and then past me and he broke my heart. It was over as soon as it began. I was exhilarated and devastated at the same time. That was my introduction to love.”
Eva – who first appeared on screen in 1998 film “Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror” – says while she had experienced love before hitting double figures, she is glad she was a fully fledged adult before her acting career took off.
She said: “There are a lot of lost little souls in Hollywood – a lot of young women who have so much, who come into fame and fortune when they are young, and it’s very difficult to handle that. I just thank my lucky stars for being an adult before being an actress.”
