Madonna Lures Britney Spears To Convert
After getting divorce from her estranged husband Guy Ritchie recently, pop diva Madonna is now focusing on converting more A-list celebrities to Kabbalah and her latest target is troubled singer Britney Spears.
Madonna, who had converted actress Gwyneth Paltrow to the controversial Jewish-based faith that she follows, is making her second attempt at Spears to join the Kabbalah circle, the Daily Mail reported today (November 23).
Spears, after the birth of her second son, Jayden James, had declared that she no longer study kabbalah and her baby is her religion.
But once again Madonna has rekindled her relationship with Spears and is persuading her to follow suit.
“Madonna is determined to get Britney back into Kabbalah. She has offered her a suite of rooms in her apartment in New York and has told that she is her surrogate mother,” the paper said quoting sources.
“Britney earlier used to wear the red Kabbalah bracelet and read the books Madonna gave to her,” paper said adding now she is thinking about giving it a another chance.”
However, Britney’s spokesperson said, “She (Britney) wouldn’t really comment on that, it’s just a case of wait and see what happens.”
The ‘Material Girl’ is also planning to invite her new friend, baseball star Alex Rodriguez, and Spears to Malawi next year as she wants them to donate to the Kabbalah centre that she has set up there.
