LOHAN NOT A LESBIAN, MAYBE BISEXUAL
Lindsay Lohan insists she is not a lesbian.
The “Mean Girls” actress – who is currently dating DJ Samantha Ronson – is madly in love with her girlfriend, but will not accept she is gay.
When asked if she is a lesbian, Lindsay fiercely replied: “No.”
However, after calling Samantha “wonderful” and admitting she “loves her very much,” Lindsay did concede she is attracted to women.
Asked if she considers herself bisexual, Lindsay said: “Maybe. Yeah.”
The 22-year-old star added she is secretive about her love life because she is nervous her relationship might fail if she is too open about it.
She said: “I feel like it jinxes it. It’s hard. The second I start talking about whomever I’m seeing, a month or two later it’s failed.”
It was recently reported Samantha, 31, proposed to Lindsay while the pair were on holiday in Mexico, but the star insists she has no plans to wed in the near future.
After claiming she will tie the knot “eventually,” an evasive Lindsay refused to be drawn on whether she will settle down with a man or woman, saying she “doesn’t know.”
The actress also admitted she takes full responsibility for her past problems – she has completed three stints in rehab and was sentenced to one day in jail in 2007 after pleading guilty to cocaine use and driving under the influence – but feels she has now put them behind her.
She added in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “I was going to clubs all the time and it was not OK.”
“I was so alone. I did it to myself and I have to deal with the consequences. I’m thankful for what I can take out of it. Now I feel clear.”
