Lindsay Lohan’s ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama tried to win her back by serenading her in a nightclub.
The “That 70’s Show” star – who dated the “Mean Girls” actress in 2004 when he was 24 and she was 18 – arrived at Unik’s weekly karaoke party on Sunday night (Mar 18, 2007) and dedicated a song to Lindsay.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: “He tried to talk to her, but she didn’t have much time for him. Then he grabbed a microphone and said, ‘Lindsay, this is for you.’”
Wilmer sang Matchbox 20’s hit “Back 2 Good,” belting out: “Just stand there, I could say so much. But I don’t go there because I don’t want to.”
“I was thinking if you were lonely maybe we could leave here and no one would know. I’m lonely now and I don’t know how to get it back to good.”
Lindsay reportedly shouted after the performance: “It’s too late!”
The source added: “Wilmer tried to take it like a man. But he left a few minutes later.”
Earlier in the evening Lindsay – who recently finished a stint in rehab for alcoholism – sang “Dirrty” by Christina Aguilera, “Criminal” by Fiona Apple, and “Like I Love You” by Justin Timberlake.
On Saturday night (Mar 17, 2007), Lindsay and her friends, DJ Samantha Ronson and PR guru Lisette Sand-Freeman, visited the Beatrice Inn, before going to The Box at 1 a.m..
Lindsay got up on the stage and sang while doing a “stripper dance” to raucous applause, reports the New York Post newspaper.
