Keira Knightley Too Old to be a Pirate!
Pirates of the Caribbean may return even after the trilogy is over, but leading lady Keira Knightley insists that she won’t be seen in any more of ‘Pirates’ movie.
Knightley, who reprises her role as Elizabeth Swann in the third movie in the trilogy ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End’, revealed that the movie would be the last time people would get to see her in the role, for she would not be acting in any more Pirates movies.
The Oscar nominated actress insisted that after playing the role for five years, she was now ready to take off her pirate’s garb and charter new territory. “I’ve been playing this girl since I was 17. I’m 21 now and I’m onto very different things,” Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.
‘Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End’, which will see Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards acting as Johnny Depp’s father, is set to hit theatres next year.
