The “Lust For Life” singer would love to add a festive hit to his catalog and considers recording a version of Bing Crosby’s seasonal classic “White Christmas” every year.
He said: “I am a real threat to cover ‘White Christmas.’ I’m ready, cocked and loaded.”
The 62-year-old rocker also revealed he is a big fan of Frank Sinatra and has plans to fulfill a long-held ambition to record his own versions of some of the crooner’s hits.
He added: “I’ve always wanted to beat up ‘Willow Weep for Me’ and there’s ‘Only the Lonely’ – that’s the title track of my favorite Frank Sinatra album.”
