Gisele Bundchen Ties The Knot
Gisele Bundchen has got married.
The Brazilian supermodel tied the knot with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in a secret ceremony at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, California, yesterday (February 26, 2009).
A source said: “The ceremony took place at dusk and was small and intimate – just what Tom and Gisele wanted.”
The 28-year-old bride wore a fitted ivory lace Dolce and Gabbana gown, which had a trumpet skirt and scalloped edges.
Gisele also had a floor-length veil with handmade satin roses and a long train, along with a satin headband.
Her three dogs attended the event, wearing matching Dolce and Gabbana lace collars.
Most of the guests were from the couple’s immediate family. Tom’s 18-month old son John Edward Thomas – his child with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan – was also present.
Gisele and Tom’s representatives are yet to issue a statement about the nuptials.
Engagement rumors first surfaced last year, when it was claimed Tom, 31, proposed to Gisele on a private plane on Christmas Eve (December 24, 2008).
Gisele was quick to refute the reports, saying: “Someone deduced I was getting engaged. I don’t know how people are so creative.”
