Charlize Theron’s “Battle In Seattle”

Academy Award winning actress Charlize Theron paid a visit to the Lone Star state over the weekend for a screening of her latest theatrical piece, “Battle In Seattle”.

As part of the AFI Film Festival closing night ceremony in Dallas, Texas, Charlize playfully posed on the red carpet and greeted fans before making her way into the screening room for the night’s festivities.

“Battle In Seattle” is the story of “Activists arriving in Seattle, Washington en masse to protest a meeting of the World Trade Organization. Riots and chaos ensue as demonstrators successfully stop the WTO meetings.”

The film, which was directed by Charlize’s long-time boyfriend Stuart Townsend, is set to hit theaters in September 2008.
