Victoria Beckham was looking chummy with British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman this morning at London Fashion Week’s Fashion East show, which features the work of up-and-coming designers.

The stylish duo was also together last night, when they celebrated the 25th anniversary of LFW at a bash alongside other British icons like Naomi Campbell and Stella McCartney.

Victoria was decked out in a dress from her own 2010 Spring collection, but she was all about supporting new talent at today’s event.

Paula Abdul fans needn’t worry…much. Turns out Victoria Beckham isn’t gunning for a full-time job on American Idol.

“She is not in talks to join the show permanently,” the Posh One’s rep, Cheryl Maisel, tells E! News.

Eyebrows raised in unison this week when word broke that Beckham would be joining Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson at a second audition city—today in Boston—despite earlier assurances from the Idol braintrust that her critical cameo last Friday would be a one-time thing.

But it appears Beckham is more interested in style over any kind of substantive TV career. Her rep said earlier today that instead of further Idol commitments, the dVb founder will be focusing her efforts on the forthcoming Fashion Week. A diva’s work is never done.

As for Paula, rumors are swirling that she may be returning to the Idol table after all, albeit not the one people are hoping for…

Could Victoria Beckham’s stint as a post-Paula Abdul judge on American Idol be more than the one-off gig asserted by producers?

Quite possibly.

E! News has learned that the erstwhile Posh Spice just joined staffers from the hit Fox reality competition aboard an American Airlines flight bound for Boston, site of this week’s round of American Idol auditions.

Natalie Eshaya, a producer for Idol host Ryan Seacrest’s syndicated KIIS-FM radio show, offered a play-by-play via Twitter.

“Hmmm victoria beckham on our flight to boston….hmmm!” Eshaya tweeted. “We are going for idol….she must be too! Interesting!!”

Last week, in the wake of Abdul’s shocking departure, show producers said they wanted to stick to the four-judge format, with guest judges like Beckham and Katy Perry serving as one-time-only fill-ins. Beckham was first up, lending her Spice Girl insight to the Denver auditions.

Reps for the singer, Fox and FreemantleMedia, which produces Idol, declined to comment. But Eshaya seemed pretty psyched about the possibility.

“Posh has boarded our plane to Boston! Last one on..but hey, at least she flies commercial! LOVE it. Love her more now!!!”

Let’s just see if viewers agree.

Victoria Beckham has thrown her son Brooklyn a lavish 10th birthday party.

The former Spice Girl organized a celebration at Los Angeles indoor skate park Skatelab complete with pizzas, presents and plenty of guests on Wednesday (March 4, 2009).

Brooklyn’s brothers Romeo, six, and Cruz, four, attended the party, along with Gwen Stefani’s two-year-old son Kingston.

Wearing casual T-shirts, shorts and trainers the guests spent the day playing and eating treats as Victoria looked on.

Brooklyn’s soccer star husband David – who is currently on loan to AC Milan from his usual team Los Angeles Galaxy – was unable to join in the festivities as he was in Doha, Qatar, preparing for an exhibition match against Al Sadd.

The skating-themed party was the latest treat Victoria has arranged for her children.

Earlier in the week she took them for a thrill-packed day out at Universal Studios, where the boys ventured onto a free-fall simulation ride.

Victoria – who didn’t participate – stunned onlookers by wearing a figure-hugging black dress and five-inch Christian Louboutin heels.

A source said at the time: “Victoria’s feet looked almost out of shape. Her toes were squashed down at the bottom of the shoe and her ankles were forced forward.”

Victoria Beckham and husband David were torn where to spend Christmas this year.

‘Victoria said she’d had so many British Christmases she wanted to have the Hollywood­ version,’ says a source.

‘She felt it would send out the right message to American fans that they weren’t running back to Hertfordshire for all of the important times of year.’

But after flying to Italy to meet team mates at AC Milan – where Becks is on load from LA Galaxy – it was only a short flight ‘home’.

Wherever they are, Victoria, 34, and David, 33, always make sure that Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 3 have a magical time.

‘David loves to be back in England as it is his family tradition and he misses home a lot at this time of year,’ the source tells the Daily Express.

‘He also wants the boys to spend some time with his dad Ted, who can’t fly to LA because of his recent heart problems.

Victoria Beckham wanted to design dresses women can go to the toilet in.

The former Spice Girls star – who recently launched her second collection of women’s clothes – determined the most important features the outfits needed.

She said: “I put all the clothes on myself and walk around in it, and I know what feels comfortable. I know how a dress should sit.”

“I’ve worn so many in the past and when I see the photographs I think, crikey, my boobs are up round my neck again because the corsets are too short and not cut high enough.”

“Like I knew I would spend a lot on high-quality zips because I have had my share of badly made zips.”

“I wanted a zip that undoes from both ends because then you can either put the dress on over your head or step into it – and also, you know, going to the loo wouldn’t be this whole big problem.”

Victoria – who has three sons with husband David – also revealed being in the Spice Girls made it harder to pursue a career in fashion.

She added to Britain’s The Times newspaper: “Being in the Spice Girls, fashion-wise, probably didn’t open any doors. If anything, it shut doors and I have had to bang them down.”

Victoria Beckham has reportedly snubbed an invitation to Mel B’s wedding.

Mel, 33, is renewing her vows with film producer husband Stephen Belafonte in a four-day ceremony in Egypt this week, following their 2007 marriage in Las Vegas.

Victoria, 34, and her soccer star husband David Beckham were invited but won’t be attending, and it is not known if any of the other Spice Girls – Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel C – will be going on the lavish, all-expenses paid trip either.

Mel had also invited Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, British TV presenter Fearne Cotton and former S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens to the ceremony, but none are able to attend.

Each invitation to the nuptials is 20 pages long and in the style of an Egyptian passport.

Inside it reads: “Guests are invited to an outrageously fun treasure hunt that Mel came up with herself. The couple renew their vows on day two.”

“The day after the wedding, Mel and Stephen have arranged for guests to take in the red sea on a luxury diving boat.”

Mel is rumored to be receiving $400,000 from OK! magazine for the photographs and is keen to invite as many celebrity friends as possible.

The Spice Girls reunited last year for a lucrative 24-date comeback world tour. At the time they showed a public solidarity, and released a single “Headlines (Friendship Never Ends),” but Victoria – also known as Posh Spice – has since revealed she was not comfortable on tour and feels her life has since moved on.

Victoria said: “I was very nervous about going back into the Spice Girls… The reason I decided to do the tour was to show my kids that mommy was once a pop star.”

“I’m not in the music industry any more. I’m in the fashion industry. It was the last opportunity to see the Spice Girls together.”

Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria are reportedly set to go into business together.

The “Desperate Housewives” actress and former Spice Girls star are planning to team up to open a unique nightspot in Las Vegas.

The venue will include a restaurant, Beso II – the second eatery in Eva’s Beso franchise – and a casino.

The pair’s decision to turn half the business into a casino is said to be due to their interest in dominoes, after Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore introduced them to the game.

A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “Eva and Victoria are obsessed with the game and spend most of their evenings going out for a civilized meal and then getting stuck into a meaty tournament. But they realized there are no venues which provide dinner and focus on this new Hollywood craze.”

“So when Eva said she was opening a new branch of Beso in the gambling capital of the world, Victoria had the brainwave of turning it into a place which specializes in food and their favorite game.”

“Eva will oversee the restaurant, while Victoria channels her energies into the casino.”

Other games reportedly set to be offered in the casino include Mah Jong, Chicken foot and Cut-Throat.

Beso II will serve food by celebrity chef Todd English and specialize in the same Latin infusion made famous by the original restaurant.

Victoria Beckham was involved in a terrifying plane incident.

The former Spice Girls singer was flying to London from Los Angeles with two of her children – five-year-old Romeo and three-year-old Cruz- when a bird flew into one of the plane’s engines as it taxied down the runway.

The pilot had to quickly apply the brakes, bringing the aircraft to a screeching halt.

A passenger on board the flight told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “It was really scary when the pilot suddenly slammed on the breaks.”

“We had no idea what was happening and you immediately fear the worst.”

“Young children were crying and for a moment I feared it was going to turn into a scene from a disaster movie.”

Fire crews quickly arrived on the scene to douse the engines with foam.

Victoria and her sons were ferried back to the airport separately from the other passengers to give her time to change out of the flight pajamas she was wearing.

The source added: “I was sitting a few rows back from Victoria and her sons, who were at the front of the plane.”

“Victoria wasn’t wearing any make-up and had changed into the pajamas provided by the airline.”

Her husband David and their eldest son, nine-year-old Brooklyn, were not on the flight.

They might be the fashion icons to millions for their sense of dressing, but when it comes to their own home, David and Victoria Beckham prefer going nude.

While talking about his latest Armani campaign on The Ellen Degeneres Show in the US , the ace footballer revealed that while at home, he and Victoria prefer being Full Monty.

Touching upon his Armani campaign, wherein Beckham featured in nothing but a pair of white pants, Ellen asked the sports star if he was comfortable stripping off.

Around the house we are, yeah. When I was doing the Armani shoot, I was quite uncomfortable because Ive never done a shoot before just in underwear, the Mirror quoted Beckham, as saying.

Victoria Beckham is anything but posh.

Victoria Beckham wanted to get a bit hippy on the Spice Girl’s reunion tour.

But don’t panic, Posh wasn’t coming over all peace and love – pal Roberto Cavalli has revealed that she wanted her outfits to “give her hips.”

The Italian fashion supremo who designed costumes for the Spice Girls for their comeback world tour thought Posh Spice “was the most daring”.

He told Grazia magazine: “She wanted to experiment, to surprise and be different. Her only request was that we give her hips.”

Cavalli, who is a personal friend of the 33-year-old clothes-horse also revealed that Geri Halliwell wanted to show off her toned body while new mother Emma Bunton asked to cover up.

He said: “I met each one on their own so I could get an idea of their personality.

“I asked them about their bodies, what they wanted to show and hide, and we talked about how they had evolved in the years since they were Spice Girls.

“Then I let them view my archive and asked them what they wanted”.

He added: “We updated Geri’s iconic Union Jack dress into a corseted Swarovski crystal-studded minidress.

“Melanie B, she was very strong, very assertive. Oh my, she was very hard work,” he joked, “I had to change her outfits twice.

“She wanted shiny, body-conscious clothes, and animal prints….

“Emma was very quiet at first, but became more confident. She wanted her outfits to be more conservative and covered up.

“Because Melanie C is the main vocalist, she wanted to be more rock chick than sporty – so for her, more trousers.

“Geri wanted everything sexy and very theatrical – she wanted to show off her body.”

Singer Lily Allen has slammed Victoria Beckham for being obsessed with fame. The 22-year-old singer, who shot to fame when her single Smile went to No1 last summer, accused the singer of revelling in being famous for no reason.

“It does make me laugh to see pictures of Victoria Beckham on the front of a magazine. I think, ‘You are not promoting anything, you don’t need the money, so all it’s about is being famous,’” the Daily Mail quoted her, as telling You magazine.

David Beckham has turned his wife Victoria’s personal trainer to prepare her for Spice Girl’s upcoming reunion tour. Victoria, who hates working out in a gym and relies on eating less to stay in shape, has now told David about her anxiousness over her dancing and fitness on stage.

And so the soccer ace is now giving Posh workouts and stamina training to get her into top physical shape, so that she could keep up with her fellow band members during their tour.

A pal of the star couple has revealed that David wants Victoria to be in her top form both emotionally and physically during her tour.
“David wants Victoria in peak health and fitness for the tour and he knows some of it is psychological,” the Daily Express quoted the pal, as saying.

“He believes in exercise and thinks any kind of exercise and movement, apart from her dancing practice, will help her emotionally and psychologically as much as physically.

“He has told her he can build up her fitness over the next few weeks at home, where no one can see or photograph them. It will make a big difference. But the key is she has to listen to him,” the pal added.
