She became an accidental film star early in her career, but now socialite Paris Hilton is hoping to become a real Hollywood actress.

Still, the 26-year-old hasn’t strayed too far away from familiar territory – in one scene from her new film the Hottie And The Nottie, she strips off to just her skimpy lingerie.

In the film, Paris stars as the object of affection for Nate, played by Joel Moore, who’s had a crush on her since primary school.

To win her over, he must first find a boyfriend for her less attractive friend.

The heiress is currently in Berlin to on a promotional tour for her new champagne drink Rich Prosecco.

Earlier this week, she arrived in the city with 18 suitcases in tow, and checked into – where else? – the local Hilton.

She told reporters she is planning to trawl through the markets for festive ornaments, but when asked what she really wants for Christmas, she replied: “A man to fall in love with, one for life, that I can start a family with.”

Mary-Kate Olsen had to be rushed to the hospital due to a kidney infection.

She was forced to watch the season finale of her TV show Weeds from a hohspital bed as the 21-year-old actress was in pain from the infection.

She was put in the hospital while in New York. She was admitted to the emergency room on Monday.

Her rep stated that she has a good prognosis and that she is “resting comfortably and will be released in the next day or so.”

Olsen has had a great year making her return to the small-screen on the Showtime series Weeds as Silas’ girlfriend Tara. Over the years she has not been in the best of health but has really gotten herself back in order.

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton has revealed that she wants to ‘leave a mark on the world’. The ‘Simple Life’ star has said that she wants to make a difference as she gears herself for a trip to Africa, Rwanda for humanitarian cause, she told Newsweek.

However, she admitted that she was initially apprehensive about her trip to the country.

“I’m scared, yeah. I’ve heard it’s really dangerous. I’ve never been on a trip like this before,” Contactmusic quoted her, as telling the magazine. The 26-year old star revealed that she felt “empty” during her days of continuous partying.

“Before, my life was about having fun, going to parties – it was a fantasy. But when I had time to reflect, I felt empty inside,” she said.
