Snoop Dogg faces up to four years in jail.
The rapper - real name Calvin Broadus - was charged on Tuesday (04.10.07) with the sale or transportation of marijuana and possession of a gun by a convicted felon.
If convicted he could be sentenced to jail time.
Snoop's attorney, Donald Etra, said: "These are the charges that were fully expected, and they will be dealt with in court."
