The two are rarely spotted together so it’s sweet to see them so close to their first anniversary at the end of the month.

We’re not sure which of these new couture fragrance ads we like better. Or worse, as the case may be.

At first glance, both Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansson look lovely modeling for Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana, respectively.

The Pirates queen looks sly and sexy in nothing but a pair of suspenders while the Iron Man newbie looks cheeky surrounded by pale pink.

But, when we looked again, we couldn’t help but feel ScarJo looks a little lost in the rosy shuffle, resembling some strange combination of Anne Hathaway and Johnny Depp in their upcoming Alice in Wonderland movie.

And, worse yet, Keira is simply not that perky, in demeanor or, ahem, stature.

Let’s just say that talented Photoshopper gave her a bit more digital enhancement than a perfect complexion, and we’re not talking about the versions of the ad where she is mysteriously wearing a shirt.

A friend told Britain’s Star magazine: “Scarlett has always been happy with her curves, but recently she has been feeling pressure to lose a few pounds.”

“She knows that she is up against tough competition from younger, prettier and increasingly skinner actresses.”

Scarlett previously insisted she loved her fuller figure and felt no pressure to diet.

She said: “I don’t need to be skinny to be sexy.”

The “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” star has been tipped to take the lead role in “The Amazon Warrior” and believes the action-packed part would be “fun.”

“But do I fit the Amazon mold? I’m a Danish/Jewish girl from New York.”

“I’ve never done a full-on action role. I guess I’m still waiting for me ‘Cirque du Soleil’ moment. It would be fun.”

The 24-year-old actress added: “I’ve done weapons training. I’ve fired all kinds of guns – 9mm semi-automatic, machine guns, shotguns.”

The “He’s Just Not That Into You” actress can’t understand why boys still have them, adding the concept of male nipples completely baffles her.

She is quoted by the Chicago Sun Times newspaper as saying: “The one thing I don’t understand about men is nipples. I don’t know if there is one aspect of men that I don’t understand other than why they have nipples.”

“Honestly, why? I guess it has something to do with the X chromosome. What is the function of the male nipple? Maybe we all start as androgynous creatures and then they become men?”

US TV network NBC put the soiled tissue on auction website eBay after “The Spirit” star appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” last week, and have now raised the staggering amount for food-gathering charity USA Harvest.

According to eBay, bidding for the sneeze debris started at $0.99 but jumped to $4,050 just hours before the auction ended. The final price was reached after 83 bids were placed.

Bidders had to be pre-approved before they could put in an offer, and the lucky recipient will remain anonymous.

Meanwhile, Scarlett has appeared on Maxim magazine’s Young Hot Hollywood 2009 list, compiled of stars they believe “will be leading Hollywood’s new guard of A-list icons.”

The 24-year-old actress features alongside seven other female celebrities in the January 2009 issue of the men’s publication, including “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively, “High School Musical” beauty Vanessa Hudgens and singer Katy Perry.

He said: “I re-wrote Silken Floss completely to reflect something I saw in Scarlett, which was blindingly obvious but I hadn’t see many directors use which was her sense of comic timing, her wry humors and thought OK, the character is kind of a repressed astrophysicist, but how did she spend her 20s. And I thought Scarlett would be perfect.”
