Sarah Harding wants to play Jo Wood in a movie about her life.

The Girls Aloud singer recently befriended the estranged wife of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and would love the chance to portray the former model on the big screen.

She said: “Jo is amazing. She’s my new favorite person. She’s had such an extraordinary life. It’s fascinating. Her stories are unbelievable. They’d make a wicked film.”

The 27-year-old blonde beauty and Jo, 53, have been spotted partying together since meeting at London Fashion Week and danced the night away at a trendy London nightclub on Tuesday (Feb 24, 2009).

She explained: “I was out with my boyfriend Tommy and we ended up partying with Jo Wood. She’s always in there with her friends – she is an amazing woman. Then we went back to our house and played Wii bowling. How rock ‘n’ roll can you get?”

Sarah also confessed she is considering permanently switching from music to acting and is thrilled with her latest acting role, in the upcoming BBC drama “Freefall.”

Speaking about the show, Sarah said: “I love acting. And I’m so proud of this one. Dominic Savage’s stuff is all about improvisation.”

“It’s so different from what I normally do, which is so rehearsed and prepared. I could really express myself. I can’t wait until my next film and fancy something other-wordly.”

Rock guitarist Eddie Van Halen said on Thursday he would enter rehab “to work on myself,” a move that appears to rule out a reunion by his troubled band when it is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next week.

The announcement came a month after he and former Van Halen singer David Lee Roth, his longtime antagonist, said they would tour North America in the summer. Within weeks, speculation arose the plans had run aground.

The Dutch-born Van Halen, 52, who has long battled alcoholism and survived a bout with tongue cancer, said in an open letter to fans he wanted to do right by them.

“I have always and will always feel a responsibility to give you my best. At the moment I do not feel that I can give you my best. That’s why I have decided to enter a rehabilitation facility to work on myself, so that in the future I can deliver the 110 percent that I feel I owe you and want to give you.”

He added: “Some of the issues surrounding the 2007 Van Halen tour are within my ability to change and some are not. As far as my rehab is concerned, it is within my ability to change and change for the better.”

The letter was released by his spokeswoman and girlfriend, Janie Liszewski, who did not respond to requests for further information.

The band, famed for such ’80s hits as “Panama” and “Hot for Teacher,” is scheduled to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in New York on Monday. The appearance had aroused speculation, given the hostility between Van Halen and Roth, who quit in the mid-’80s, and also between Van Halen and Roth’s successor, Sammy Hagar, who was ousted a decade later.

In a 1995 interview with Rolling Stones magazine, Eddie Van Halen said he had entered rehab twice. He recalled his only drunken-driving arrest came after he had left an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, appalled by everyone’s sob story, and stopped at a bar for a few shots.

“I always got hammered to be able to cope,” he told the magazine. “I have zero social skills and I don’t know how to act, so I get drunk. And then I make a real ass out of myself.”

Great silk jersey cocktails with cut out shoulders, devilishly well cut pencil pants, a series of taut dresses with metallic leather swirls and a couple with crystal bodices – in particular on Dutch model Stone – were standouts in this fall 2007 collection. A little more rigorous editing would have cut a Cardin-like olive green military coat, but overall this was a well-pruned show, a dark tale for cerebral night prowlers and a useful tutorial in fashion staging. No surprise then where it took place – La Sorbonne, the Continent’s most famous university.

The Rolling Stones on Tuesday cancelled an upcoming concert in Hawaii and rescheduled three other performances, while a fan sued the band for $51 million for pulling out of a New Jersey show last week.

Singer Mick Jagger, 63, has been hit with a sore throat, forcing the last-minute postponement of Friday’s Atlantic City show, a rare theater show in New York that was delayed by a day until Wednesday and now stadium gigs in Oakland, Calif., Vancouver, Canada, and Los Angeles.

Additionally, a November 22 date scheduled for Honolulu’s Aloha Stadium — their first in Hawaii since 1998 — has been cancelled. The band’s spokeswoman said she did not know why it was scrapped, but the Stones have been dogged by poor ticket sales in some cities. It also would have been costly for the band to fly in its huge stage and a large retinue.

Meanwhile, a fan from Brooklyn on Tuesday sued the Stones for $51 million for cancelling their October 27 concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey, four hours before it was scheduled to start.

The suit charges that Jagger sought medical attention before the concert and knew he would not perform but did not disclose that in time for ticket-holders to cancel travel reservations.

Druyan bought a pair of tickets on the Internet for $575 and said she was not notified about the cancellation until it was too late to cancel her $300 hotel reservations at the Trump Taj Mahal. A spokeswoman was not immediately available to comment on the suit.

The rock legends have announced that the postponed Atlantic City concert has been re-scheduled for November 17.

The second North American leg of their “Bigger Bang” world tour will now end on November 25 in Vancouver, which originally was set to host the Stones on Friday.
