Robbie Williams is ready to rejoin Take That.

The “Angels” singer – who sensationally quit the group 14 years ago – has settled his differences with lead singer Gary Barlow and the rest of the band want him back.

He told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Let’s see what happens, but my head’s in the right place, so the timing could be right if Gary calls.”

“I think it would be fun. It would be good. I’m in regular contact with them, even Gary, so it’s looking more likely by the week.”

“The lads seem up for it and some people think it’s a done deal.”

Robbie is keen for the reunion to happen in the near future, saying: “It would make sense for it to happen some time over the next year.”

Robbie left Take That in the summer of 1995 and while the band initially carried on as a four-piece, they split the following year.

The group – which also consists of Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald – reunited in 2005 and have gone on to enjoy huge success, including UK number one albums and sold-out tours.

Mark recently spoke of how much he would love to welcome Robbie back to the group.

He said: “It would be brilliant if he came back some day. There’s nothing missing without him in a musical sense, but still it would be so great.”

“I think we’d all have Rob back tomorrow if he wanted it and the time felt right.”

However, Gary admitted he didn’t expect a full Take That reunion to happen on this year’s tour.

He said: “Robbie will not be coming on tour with us because he has got his own things to do. But we are not ruling out getting together with him beyond that.”

The Brit singer, who has had a long list of celebrity relationships, was seen with the 6-footer model at LA’s Chateau Marmont Hotel with Jude Law and Paul.

Earlier, Staples, who is six years elder than Robbie, had dated TV hypnotist Paul McKenna.

“They couldn’t keep their hands to themselves. No one could take their eyes off Robbie and Clare because they were all over each other. He was constantly touching her legs and whispering in her ear,” News of the World quoted a source as saying.

“Then things got a bit heated. They went to get the key to Clare’s room and disappeared into the bedroom for 15 minutes. They must fancy the pants off each other,” the source added.

The source also said that the two have been dating for six months now.

“Clare has been dating Robbie for six months now, and they’re both serious about each other. They are very happy, have loads in common and enjoy spending lots of time together,” the source said.

An awards spokesman said: “The nominations are based on statistical data and the award is for the song by a British writer that has sold the most around the world.”

Arctic Monkeys songwriter Alex Turner is up for best song musically and lyrically, for the group’s hit “When The Sun Goes Down.”

British soul singer Amy Winehouse has been put forward for best contemporary song for “Rehab.”

Her nomination follows her BRIT Awards success in February when she was named best British Female.

Madonna and Scissor Sisters lead the way in the nominations with two each.

Robbie Williams says he is getting his life ”back on track” after checking out of rehab.

The “Rudebox” singer says all is well following his recent stint at Arizona’s Cottonwood de Tucson clinic, where he was treated for addictions to prescription drugs and caffeine.

He told Entertainment Weekly: “It’s going really good. I got the train back on track. I’ve been sober since February 13 and look at me – I’m brand spanking new again.”

Robbie, 33, also acknowledged that “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell was right to tell him to “get a grip” when he entered rehab.

He said: “I’ve met Simon a few times and I like him.”

“He is usually right about things. He’s probably right about that.”

Robbie checked into Cottowood on February 13 – his 33rd birthday. He left almost a month later on March 3 and has since been seen looking well and partying in Los Angeles.

The star – who has lived in the US for two years – insists he does not want to be a success in America, because he enjoys the freedom that comes with his relative anonymity.

He explained: “I decided four albums ago I like living here. I’ve got to the point where I’m famous enough to enjoy my celebrity and do fun stuff without all the crap that goes with it.”

“And it would be insane to invite what I have in the rest of the world into this country. So I’m not going to bother promoting or releasing records here.”

The “Angels” singer – who was reportedly left “terrified” by the actor’s angry outburst after his friends blocked the actor’s drive – has tried to heal the rift with the lavish gift.

A source said: “Robbie moved to Los Angeles for a peaceful life and the thought of having a dispute with the neighbors doesn’t appeal to him. He decided to splash his cash to show there are no hard feelings.”

Robbie Williams was left terrified after his neighbor Joe Pesci threatened him with a golf club during a furious bust-up.

The 64-year-old actor saw red when Robbie invited his friends over to his Los Angeles home for a game of soccer and they blocked Pesci’s driveway with their cars.

After successfully completing a 21-day drug treatment in a US clinic, pop star Robbie Williams, took off from the rehabilitation center and will continue his treatment with an after-care program in Los Angeles.

“Robbie has completed treatment in Arizona and continues with an after-care program in Los Angeles,” the singer’s spokeswoman, said in a statement but she refused to comment on claims Robbie left the center a week earlier than scheduled.

Robbie is back to his home in LA where his mother Jan, who is a drink and drugs counselor, will take care of him. When Robbie decided to check himself in rehab, on his 33rd birthday (February 13), his mother said it was the “best present he could give himself”.

“There was one time when he came home in the middle of all his drink and drugs problems – and he lay down with his head on my lap and he was sobbing,” Robbie’s mom said.

“It is very, very hard when your child has problems, alcohol and drugs just don’t affect the person who takes them. As a mother it was mind-blowing. Even though I was relatively skilled it just went under the net and I never saw it.

“Some of it has been a living hell,” she confessed.

The Sun newspaper reported that Robbie was treated in the Cottonwood clinic in Tucson, one of the toughest rehab centers in the US, while he was thought to be an Arizona clinic, where Kate Moss was rehabbed after her cocaine scandal.

Patients at the Cottonwood center are required to share a bedroom with two others, after a five-day detox, and are woken up at 7 am each morning before undergoing intensive group and individual therapy sessions, the paper wrote.

A source at the centre said: “Robbie was meant to be here for four weeks but left after three.”

“There is absolutely no star treatment here,” the source added.

The former Take That member, who previously spoke about his continuing battle with depression and his addictions, spent his time studying British trivia, reading quiz books and looking up amazing facts online.

“He’s trying to keep his brain active. He wants to brush up on his British and U.S. history,” a source claimed.

Another friend said counselors at the clinic told Robbie, who enjoys games nights with friends, that keeping his mind active was the best way to combat his problems.

The friend added: “Everyone is now glad Rob is out of rehab and finally able to get on with his life.

Williams, who celebrates his 33rd birthday on Tuesday, is one of Europe’s most successful entertainers who rose to fame as a member of the hit boy band Take That before going solo.

“Robbie Williams has today been admitted into a treatment centre in America for his dependency on prescription drugs,” his public relations agent in London said. “There will be no further comment on this matter.”

Williams, who was born in Britain and now has a home in Los Angeles, has a history of struggling with addictions and was treated for drug and alcohol dependency after Take That split up in 1995.

His latest album, Rudebox, has had mixed reviews in Britain and sold just under a million copies in the United States.

Fans of Robbie Williams may have to wait for his new album for some more time, for his ex-manager has filed a writ petition against him over the inclusion of a song he believes is defamatory, casting doubts as to whether his new album will release on time.

Nigel Martin-Smith has reportedly filed a writ petition against Williams and his record label Chrysalis in the High Court, demanding 300,000 pounds in damages over a track on his forthcoming Rudebox CD.

Nigel is said to have made this move after the singer did not pay a heed to his demand to not release a song in the album called ‘The 90s’, the lyrics of which, he believes, are highly defamatory to him and are untrue.

Since the album is scheduled to be out on October 23, Williams’ lawyers will have to move quickly to avoid its release from being delayed.

The hearing is expected to last for weeks or even months, and this has become a cause of worry for Robbie’s record label, which has already shelled out a lot of money on the international marketing campaign to promote the album.

“The major problem is that thousands of pounds have already been spent on an international marketing campaign to promote the album. From the record label’s point of view the album has to come out on time,” the Sun quoted an insider as saying.
