Keeping herself busy as she readies for her second child, Nicole Richie was spotted running around Los Angeles over the weekend.

Wearing a casual pink ensemble, the former “Simple Life” starlet dropped by her Pilates class before grabbing a bite to eat at Sharky’s.

And while she’s already been down this path before, insiders tell that Miss Richie has been a bit emotional as of late.

“Her hormones have really been kicking in and Nicole has been crying at everything from movies, to TV shows and even commercials,” a source told press. “Joel [Madden]has been tiptoeing around her making sure he doesn’t upset her – but it doesn’t seem to be working.”

Angelina Jolie is reportedly pregnant.

The “Changeling” star has sparked rumors she is expecting another child with partner Brad Pitt after she asked for daring stunt scenes in her forthcoming movie “Salt” to be cut back.

A movie source said: “There is still some exciting action stuff – most notably when Angelina’s character is chased by snipers over the rooftops.”

“But there’s no back-flips on speeding trains and it’s all more face close-ups than action sequences.”

“Early versions of ‘Salt’ could not be shot with a woman in the early stages of pregnancy but the draft they’re shooting now can.”

Fueling the baby rumors is the fact Angelina – who already has six children with Brad, including three adopted kids – usually does her own stunts.

In “Wanted,” “Tomb Raider” and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” she refused to use a stunt double for the more extreme action sequences.

The 33-year-old actress said: “It doesn’t look as real. I think the best stunts are when an audience watches it and can understand everything that’s going on and feel like they’re in the middle of the action. I love practicing stunts to get them right.”

Angelina’s role in “Salt” has already been dramatically altered since the first scripts were written.

Her part as Eveline Salt – a CIA agent who must evade capture after being framed as a Russian spy – was originally set to be played by Tom Cruise, but the role was changed to suit an actress when the “Valkyrie” star pulled out.

Portia de Rossi is not trying to get pregnant.

The “Arrested Development” star – who married talk show host Ellen DeGeneres last year – says rumors she is having in vitro fertilization (IVF) are “completely made up.”

She said: “There’s a story around right now about me that could not be further from the truth. The IVF story. That was just completely made up.”

It’s not the first time the 36-year-old actress has been the subject of pregnancy rumors.

She added to US TV show “Access Hollywood”: “The baby thing comes around annually. I find once a year whether I deny it or not. It doesn’t make any difference.”

It will be her first time on the popular program and she is very nervous.

All eyes were on Jessica Alba at the premiere of Lionsgate and Paramount Vantage’s horror pic “The Eye” at the Cinerama Dome on Thursday night.

Sources say the 40-year-old actress has temporarily stopped her regular Botox injections as she takes extra precautions in her pregnancy. Also, she’s going back to red, her natural hair color, as she worries dye chemicals will harm her baby.

“[Kidman used to] worry about how she looked all the time. Now she’s unwilling to take a risk with procedures that could harm the baby,” a source says. “She looks more beautiful than ever.”

Her husband, country singer Keith Urban, also thinks the statuesque actress is rocking the pregnancy glow as “he can’t stop telling Nicole how beautiful she is and how much he loves her.”

Kidman had previously confessed about her failed pregnancies while married to Tom Cruise. They have two adopted children together, Isabelle and Connor. This will be the actress and Urban’s first child.

Singer Lily Allen has reportedly split from her boyfriend Ed Simons just week after suffering a miscarriage.

The 22-year-old had discovered she was pregnant with the Chemical Brothers star’s baby just a month after they began dating.

But it has emerged that the strain of Lily’s miscarriage damaged the coupling, with Simons, 37, allegedly ending the relationship after failed attempts to recover their romance.

“They tried to make things work but couldn’t,” a friend told the Sun newspaper

“The miscarriage was a horrible experience for both of them – and in recent weeks the mood between them had been really strained.”

The source added: “Lily is really upset things haven’t worked out for her and Ed. She had talked about settling down for good and having a family.

“But there is a big age difference and the heartbreak they had to cope with was too much too early in their relationship.”

After the revelation of her pregnancy in December, Allen even said she was willing to retire in her mid-20s in order to focus on raising a family.

She told the Sun: “I’ve looked forward to being stable my whole life. My parents are amazing, but it has been a whirlwind upbringing.

“I have got my eye on the prize, which is having kids and getting married and cooking dinner and doing homework with my children.”

The singer met the Chemical Brothers star at a concert in September 2007.

A spokesman for Lily refused to comment on the reported break-up.

“How many 16-year-old girls get pregnant every week? It doesn’t mean she’s a bad person. I don’t think this will end her career. Life will go on, “Pam Wright, who works at a convenience store along Kentwood’s main drag, U.S. Highway 51, said of Jamie Lynn Spears.

“The media should leave her alone,” store clerk Becky Gill said. “Everybody has problems, she’s not the only one. But she’s the one gets her problems on television. She’s the one under constant scrutiny.”

Britney Spears continues to make the headlines after being photographed shopping for a pregnancy test.

After she saw her visitation rights to her two sons suspended following a stand-off with police the singer may have wanted to keep a low profile.

The star was hospitalised recently after refusing to hand over her two sons Sean Preston, two, and one-year-old Jayden James, when police reputedly found her under the influence of an “unidentified substance”.

But the 26-year-old has opted to keep herself in the news by making a very visible trip to a pharmacy with her new boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.

Spears and 35-year-old Ghalib were snapped clearly scanning the shelves of the Rite Aid store in Studio City, California, for home pregnancy tests.

However, the veracity of the pictures is cast into doubt by Ghalib’s involvement – the photos were reportedly released by his own photo agency, FinalPixx.

Britney’s cousin and former assistant Alli Sims has recently hit out at Ghalib’s involvement in the Toxic star’s life, saying he has “bad intentions”.

Simms told Us Weekly: “I do not think Adnan is a good person… He has given me a weird feeling and creeped me out. I wish he would just go away.”

But Simms denied that Spears’ public meltdown had anything to do with drug abuse, despite the fact that the ruling judge in Spears’ custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline has labelled her a “habitual, frequent and continuous” user of controlled substances and alcohol.

“I do not think that is the issue at all,” Simms said. “I was with her for eight months pretty much every day and never witnessed anything like that – and I lived there.”

George Clooney has cast doubt on Angelina Jolie’s alleged pregnancy, saying that he has no idea about it.

While speaking at the 2007 National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Awards Gala, the 46-year-old actor said that he has no knowledge of Jolie’s reported pregnancy.

Jamie Lynn Spears is the latest celebrity to become the subject of PETA’s affection.

The animal rights groups latest ad campaign has used the 16-year-old’s shock pregnancy to urge pet owners to spay and neuter their dogs and cats.

Whilst PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk claims the ad was filmed before the teen announced her pregnancy last month – she hopes people make the connection.

“Just as (Jamie Lynn’s mother) Lynne Spears is under scrutiny because of her underage daughter’s pregnancy, people who fail to spay and neuter their animals should also be feeling the heat,” claims Newkirk.

“No one should be bringing more animals into the world when millions of deserving, wonderful dogs and cats are dying for good homes.”

The short film shows a 16-year-old girl being encouraged to “pop out babies” by her parents.

When the appalled girl asks, “What if I get pregnant?” the parents respond by urging her to “pop out all the kids you can”.

The ad, which has been posted on PETA’s official website, will be broadcast on Jamie Lynn’s local ABC affiliate in her native Louisiana, TV network WGNO next week.

Jamie Lynn Spears is going back to school.

The 16-year-old actress – whose Nickelodeon TV show ‘Zoey 101’ has been axed since she revealed she was pregnant – has reportedly begun studying for the General Educational Development tests, used to gain a high school equivalency degree.

Jamie, the sister of troubled pop star Britney Spears, was spotted leaving the Tangipahoa Parish School System Adult Education Centre in Hammond, Louisiana, on Friday (04.01.08) carrying a GED book. The building also houses the Title I Parent Centre, which teaches parents how to help their children improve their reading skills.

The child star previously attended the prestigious Parklane Academy in McComb, Mississippi. Jamie studied at the academy off-and-on for years, depending on her filming schedule.

A school staff-member claims Jamie enrolled at the school full-time in November, saying she had finished filming. After Thanksgiving, Jamie said she was needed back in Los Angeles.

The source told People magazine: “If Jamie had tried to stay, she would most probably have been expelled for being pregnant.”

A spokesman for Parklane Academy refused to comment.

Nicole Kidman is taking a break from acting because she does not want to work while pregnant.

The 40-year-old actress has reportedly dropped out of post-World War II Germany drama ‘The Reader’, which she was supposed to start filming this month, as she is worried undue stress may harm her unborn baby.

Matthew Frankel, a spokesman for the Weinstein Company who are producing the film, has denied the actress has quit the movie, saying: “I am being told that the status on ‘The Reader’ has not changed.”

Nicole’s representative Catherine Olim – who last week denied the actress was pregnant – refused to comment on the rumours.

The ‘Moulin Rouge’ star – who has suffered miscarriages in the past – was asked by a reporter in Sydney, Australia, on Friday (04.01.08) if she was pregnant but refused to answer either way.

An inside source told the New York Post newspaper: “Of course, everyone knows she’s pregnant and lying about it.”

Another source claims a Vanity Fair editor was recently overheard talking about bringing forward the date of Nicole’s photoshoot for the magazine’s annual Hollywood issue because of her condition.

The insider said: “It’s because the costumes she’s set to wear won’t fit her much longer.”

British singer Lily Allen, who is pregnant with Chemical Brothers singer Ed Simons’ child, revealed that she did not want to be a mother so soon because she is too young to take the responsibility.

Allen did not know she was pregnant when she gave an interview distancing herself from any romantic involvement with Simons and also her reservations of having children so soon, pagesixc.com reports.

Rumours that Jennifer Aniston is expecting her first baby have been dashed after the Friends actress denied the claims and followed it up by having a swift drink with friends.

Representatives for the 38-year-old Friends star issued a statement that simply said: ‘She is not pregnant.’

They were responding to US and UK reports that Aniston was expecting.

In further proof she is not carrying a little bundle, Aniston hit the town with former co-star Courteney Cox for some martinis at Mastro’s in Beverly Hills.

Jessica Alba has decided that she does not want to marry her boyfriend Cash Warren while she is pregnant with their first child.

The actress, who is due to give birth next summer, was originally expected to tie the knot with Warren before her baby arrives. However, reports now suggest that she does not want to walk down the aisle with a baby bump.

A source close to the couple told Usmagazine.com: “She doesn’t want to be pregnant in a dress.”

Alba has also refused to follow in the footsteps of Demi Moore and Britney Spears by showing off her baby bump on a magazine cover.

Jailed former American Idol finalist Jessica Sierra is reportedly pregnant in Florida.

TMZ.com cited sources who said the baby’s father is a rap artist and Sierra is happy to be expecting.

Sierra, 22, is in the infirmary in Florida’s Falkenburg Road Jail and has been placed on a pregnancy diet, the report said.

The singer, who will soon be seen on the TV reality series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, is facing two misdemeanor charges of disorderly intoxication and obstructing or opposing an officer, and two felony counts of possession of cocaine and battery, TMZ.com said.

She was arrested after she allegedly went on a drunken rampage at a nightclub earlier this month.

After pleading no contest to charges of felony battery and drug possession last month, the singer was sentenced to 12 months’ probation and random drug testing.

The alleged behavior that led to her most recent arrest reportedly violates the terms of her probation.

Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16-year-old “Zoey 101″ star and sister of Britney, told OK! magazine that she’s pregnant and that the father is her boyfriend, Casey Aldridge.

“It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected,” she said. “I was in complete and total shock and so was he.”

Spears is 12 weeks along and initially kept the news to herself when she learned of the pregnancy from an at-home test and subsequent doctor visit, she told the celebrity magazine, which hits stands in New York on Wednesday and the rest of the country by Friday.

What message does she want to send to other teens about premarital sex? “I definitely don’t think it’s something you should do; it’s better to wait,” she told the magazine. “But I can’t be judgmental because it’s a position I put myself in.”

After she found out from a doctor that she was pregnant, she said, “I took two weeks to myself where I didn’t tell anybody.”

“Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone’s opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me,” she said.

Spears broke the news to her mother, Lynne, just before Thanksgiving, the magazine reported.

“She was very upset because it wasn’t what she expected at all,” Spears said. “A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive.”

Lynne Spears, already grandmother to Britney’s young sons, told the magazine: “I didn’t believe it because Jamie Lynn’s always been so conscientious. She’s never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby.”

She said her actress daughter, the telegenic heroine of her popular Nickelodeon series, has known Aldridge for years and began dating him in high school.

But in a recent interview with The Associated Press, Spears said she had no steady boyfriend. “I kind of just keep my options open,” she said. “I have a bunch of friends that I always hang out with, a bunch of guy friends.” She declined to talk about her older sister.

Spears spoke to the AP shortly before Thanksgiving, the day she told OK! she informed her mother about the pregnancy.

Jamie Lynn plans to raise the baby in her home state of Louisiana — “so it can have a normal family life.”

Nickelodeon released a statement: “We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.”

A publicist for the network did not immediately respond to phone and e-mail requests for additional comment.

“Zoey 101″ is scheduled to conclude its third season Jan. 4 with a cliffhanger episode in which Spears’ character must decide whether to leave her fictional Pacific Coast Academy boarding school in California to join her parents in London.

The show is scheduled to resume in February, and its producer, Dan Schneider, has said filming on the fourth season has already been completed.

British pop star Lily Allen is “thrilled” about the prospect of her impending motherhood.

The Smile singer, 22, found out she was expecting The Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons’ child last month (Nov07), and until now, had only revealed the news to close family members, including her actor father Keith.

But the story was broken by British tabloid The Sun on Wednesday morning (19Dec07), and a spokesman for the happy couple has now confirmed the news.

The representative says, “(Allen and Simons are) obviously both thrilled by the news.

“As the pregnancy is at a very, very early stage, the couple ask that you respect their privacy, as the health of Lily and their child is their paramount concern.” Allen has been dating Simons, 37, since September (07).

Jennifer Love Hewitt is reportedly pregnant. The I Know What You Did Last Summer actress is said to be expecting her first baby with fiancé Ross McCall in June.

A source said, “Jennifer was shocked, but at the same time she was ecstatic with the news. It wasn’t planned, but now that it’s happened, Jennifer and Ross are both very happy.” Jennifer, 28, allegedly discovered she was pregnant around the same time Band of Brothers actor Ross proposed her.

The happy couple marked their double celebration by jetting off to Hawaii for a romantic break, where Jennifer was pictured in a bikini looking larger than usual.

Her curvy figure sparked rumours of her pregnancy. However, Jennifer hit back at the jibes about her weight saying she was proud of her body.

She said, “Size two is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size zero doesn’t make you beautiful. I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family.”
