Kate Winslet’s ”real” breasts have been praised by Oprah Winfrey.The US talk show host applauded the “Revolutionary Road” actress’ natural figure, adding she loves seeing a woman with natural assets on the big screen.

Speaking to Kate, 33, on her show, Oprah said: “I love the fact that you have real breasts, because in all the breast scenes, your breasts do what real breasts do.”

“There’s that wonderful thing, you know, if you are a woman, you’re lying on your back, your breasts they part, but if you look at a woman who hasn’t got real breasts, their breasts are sticking straight up.”

“That’s how you know. God bless your real breasts!”

Oprah is the latest famous face to share her appreciation for Kate’s figure – actress Halle Berry recently admitted she is envious of Kate’s body.

Halle said: “Kate Winslet is always naked, sitting on a toilet, or running buck naked.”

“I want to be the kind of actress who can really be comfortable with my body like that.”

Kate – who has stripped off in several movies, including “Titanic,” “Little Children” and “The Reader” – has since claimed she finds baring all for the camera easy.

She revealed: “That’s so amazing. That is worth the pain! I am thrilled to hear someone like Halle say something like that.”

“But what I would want to say to her is, ‘Well, you can,’ because all I do is say, ‘I don’t give a s**t!’”

Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise are among the stars who have sent their condolences to John Travolta and Kelly Preston.

The couple have been left devastated following the death of their 16-year-old son Jett, who passed away on Friday (Jan 2, 2009), but their friends have been quick to offer support.

John’s lawyer Michael Ossi told CNN: “Everybody has reached out. It seems like the world has reached out and feels the pain that John and Kelly are going through.”

“Thousands and thousands of phone calls have been received. Oprah has called, you name it, they’ve called.”

Michael also added “Forrest Gump” star Tom Hanks and “Valkyrie” actor Tom Cruise – who like John and Kelly is a follower of Scientology – have offered their condolences.

In a statement released by John and Kelly, the couple thanked well-wishers for their support.

They said: “We have received many messages of condolence from around the world and we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support.”

“It has meant so much to us. It is a beautiful reminder of the inherent goodness in the human spirit that gives us hope for a brighter future.”

A post mortem on Jett, who suffered from Kawasaki Syndrome and had frequent seizures, is to take place today (Jan 5, 2009).

The TV talk show queen topped the annual Forbes magazine’s Celebrity 100 list once again, beating golf superstar Tiger Woods and Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie.

Soccer star David Beckham – who moved to Los Angeles Galaxy last July in a multi-million dollar deal – made it into the top five for the first time along with newlywed singer Beyonce Knowles.

The Forbes list is designed to reflect the influence of a celebrity in any one year.

It looks at how much a celebrity is paid, and how much press, internet and TV coverage they get.

While “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling only made it to number nine, she ranked as number one in the highest earners list.

The rest of the Celebrity 100 list is compiled of Johnny Depp, The Police, Jay-Z and Brad Pitt.

Major stars to drop out of the prestigious list include double Oscar-winner Tom Hanks, new mom Jessica Alba and superstar singer Elton John, who was last year’s number seven.

As she returned to the Vancouver, British Columbia set yesterday to continue filming her new movie “Traveling,” Jennifer Aniston was ready for the cold weather.

The former “Friends” actress wore a full-length down coat and scarf with a matching tobogganing knit hat as she arrived on the set.

When she’s done with that gig, it sounds like Jen will be teaming up with talk show queen Oprah Winfrey to brighten the lives of others. It was just announced that the March 2nd premiere of ‘Oprah’s Big Give’ will include the “Break-Up” star popping up here and there.

Oprah will also be enlisting the help of actors John Travolta, Natalie Cole, Donald Trump, and Jada Pinkett-Smith, as well as athletes Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Tony Hawk, and Danica Patrick.

Oprah Winfrey is reported to have cast R&B singer Alicia Keys in the lead role in her forthcoming biopic on Lena Horne.

The U.S. chat show queen-turned movie producer has chosen the Fallin’ hitmaker to play the reclusive jazz star, who is now 90 years of age.

She says, “We’re going to start filming next year, and we’ve got Alicia.”

Singer Janet Jackson is reportedly devastated by the news, as she had actively pursued the role of Horne for years – and was in talks to play the music legend when the project was earmarked for a TV special.

Alicia Silverstone may have famously said in “Clueless” that she “totally intends to stop for animals” when she gets her reel-life driver’s license, but now the Hollywood hottie has dedicated her real life to saving creatures and critters.

“I’m excited to see Carrie Underwood perform tonight because she’s a fellow vegetarian,” Silverstone told Pop Tarts on the green carpet of Sunday’s “Movies Rock” concert to celebrate the many years of music in film. “Vegan is my life at the moment; I’m very dedicated to the cause.”

Silverstone left nothing to the imagination earlier this year by flashing all of her flesh for a PETA campaign, but it turns out she has high hopes for another star to “go naked rather than wear fur.”

“I would love to see Oprah naked — that’s a goal for me,” she said. “It would be great if she became a vegetarian; she is a very powerful woman and would really get the message across.”

Actress Hilary Swank used her hair for a noble cause by donating her long locks to a cancer patient. The actress chopped off her locks on the Oprah Winfrey Show as part of hair product giant Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths charity campaign.

The purpose of the campaign is to urge men and women to cut and donate their hair for wigs to aid cancer sufferers undergoing chemotherapy.

The ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ star therefore took extra care of her tresses to make sure that whoever gets them will feel more than proud.
“I’ve been growing my hair for months, so it’s super long and super healthy,” Contactmusic quoted her, as telling USA Today.

“I’ve gotten my conditioning treatments every four weeks. Everyone is commenting on my hair and how it’s long and pretty and healthy and shiny. All the better for a woman in need,” she added.

When it comes to what pays on US television, talk doesn’t come cheap — nor apparently does a loud mouth.

Financial magazine Forbes on Thursday published a list of the highest-paid TV celebrities, with daytime talk show host Oprah Winfrey leading the way by earning an $260 million between June 2006 and June 2007. Nobody else came close.

Second in the list was Jerry Seinfeld earning $60 million.

Winfrey was joined at the top of the list by another talk show host, David Letterman, who landed at No. 4 by raking in $40 million in the same period from his “Late Night with David Letterman.”

Simon Cowell, the arrogant and harshly critical judge on top-rated talent show “American Idol” earned $45 million to land at No. 3, and Donald Trump, whose boisterous exclamation “You’re Fired” from reality show “The Apprentice” became part of the pop culture lexicon, was No. 5 with $32 million.

The list shows that in the media arena, it pays to own and produce either all or part of your shows, like Oprah.

That notion becomes abundantly clear in the No. 2 slot, where Jerry Seinfeld sits with $60 million earned mostly from reruns of his co-owned 1990’s sitcom “Seinfeld.”

Despite the fact that prime-time TV shows win awards and critical acclaim, Forbes Senior Editor Lea Goldman noted that daytime TV and news is where stars rake in the dough.

“Daytime personalities dominate our list of TV’s top earners, with most competition among morning and afternoon talk show hosts,” said Goldman.

Barbara Walters, another star who owns and co-produces her daytime show “The View,” landed at No. 18 with $12 million.

Clinton’s appearance was announced Monday in an e-mail — “The first interview about his new passion!” — sent to members of Winfrey’s book club.

Winfrey, who interviewed Clinton in 2004 for his memoir “My Life,” has good reason to think highly of the new book. “Giving” praises Winfrey’s “Angel Network,” which has donated millions of dollars around the world, from money for schools in Africa to relief aid for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The book also includes comments from Winfrey, who was asked why she started the Angel Network, and another charitable organization, the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.

“I wanted to give back what I was given, a sense of worth,” she replied. “Everyone wants to matter.”
