Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia recently collapsed on the sets of Saurabh Shukla’s upcoming film ‘I’m 24′ due to sheer exertion.

“I was overworked. Even before I could realise anything, I collapsed on the sets. Saurabh was quite concerned and gave me a break for three hours to rest. Believe me I was really happy to get a break after a long time,” Neha told a news agency.

The 26-year-old actress, who bagged the Miss India Universe title in 2002 and made her Bollywood debut in Qayamat a year later, admits that beauty contests are a gateway to the film industry but doesn’t guarantee success.

Ask her whether her fans will accept her in her new ‘fully clad’ avatar, and she immediately retorts, “Trust me they will like what I am doing. I have already got some great response for Chup Chup Ke, and I’m doing some great films in the coming months too. I’ve got a film with Naseeruddin Shah where I am paired opposite him; then there’s a film with Sanjay Dutt called Shootout at Lokhandwala; and a film with Jimmy Shergill called Delhi Heights.”

She adds, “The film with Naseer is a comic thriller. The one with Sanjay Dutt is a gangster film, while the one with Jimmy is a love story. I hope people like the work I am doing. I just need all my fans to come and see my films. They are a great line up.” Now let’s wait and watch if Neha’s fans agree to that!

Neha Dhupia has just completed work on a high-profile US television commercial for a new line of luxury skin care products. The commercial was shot over several days in Beverly Hills and features glamorous shots of Indian beauty Neha, showcasing her stunning looks in the glitzy world of Hollywood.

The commercial was directed by Tim Mewton, who is known as one of the most innovative and creative directors working in television today. Speaking about the project Tim said, “This is the best example yet of the huge cross-over movement taking place between Hollywood and Bollywood.”

Neha Dhupia also recently became the brand ambassador for Police – the international eyewear and watch company. Speaking about her association with the brand, Dhupia says, “Police and I have a lot in common. We both are young, hip and upcoming.” Dhupia now joins the famous list of brand ambassadors for Police including Bruce Willis, George Clooney and David Beckham.

Prod further what stuff she would like her man to cook, she reveals, “It’s got to be hot scrambled eggs that makes me feel romantic and makes my day. So if my man knows how to make delicious breakfast then nothing like it. In fact I am very fond of a good breakfast. I give lot of importance to have good and a hearty meal. So why not have it cooked by someone who must understand the demand of my body? Even my dream date should be such where I should have lots of good food around,” says Neha.

Her list of romantic food items goes beyond eggs as she says, “Chicken is also in the list of my romantic dishes list.”
