No word on whether Ms. Mariah will be performing on the big night.

The “State of Play” actor tries not to think about three-year-old Violet and three-month-old Seraphina – his daughters with wife Jennifer Garner – bringing home boys, adding he will be very protective of them when they do.

Asked how he will feel when his children begin attracting suitors, Ben replied: “I’m already planning on it – practicing the rocking-chair-and-rifle routine.”

Before his twin daughters were born, Jerry O’Connell insisted no one will ever be good enough to date them.

Jerry – who has three-month-old twin girls Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip with his wife Rebecca Romijn – said: “I don’t want them to date. They’re only allowed to date men who run countries.”

“They’re only allowed to date men who are heir to the throne or are currently running a nation.”

Benji Madden is also fiercely protective of his 13-month-old niece Harlow, the daughter of his twin brother Joel and Nicole Richie.

Benji explained: “I’m going to be keeping a close eye on her. I’ll leave the shotgun right by the door.”

Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have got married in secret.

The “Candy” singer and the alternative rocker – who got engaged last month – tied the knot in a simple ceremony in Savannah, Georgia on Tuesday (March 10, 2009).

Mandy, 24, and Ryan, 34, applied for a marriage license at the Chatham County Probate office in the early afternoon.

A court source said the couple seemed to go “unrecognized” and were not disturbed by onlookers or any photographers.

When the pair got engaged in February, Mandy insisted she would tie the knot without a fuss.

She said: “I want the wedding to be less of a big deal. Hopefully, it can happen and slip by unnoticed by everybody.”

“I guess we have to be sort of sneaky about it, but I’ll see what I can accomplish.”

The newlywed was also keen to have a plain, simple dress.

She said: “I’m not the kind of girl that obsesses over her wedding day. I kind of feel like, because I’ve been able to get married in a few films, I kind of got the whole giant wedding fuss out of my system.”

The couple have been together since March 2008 but briefly split in July because Ryan couldn’t cope with Mandy’s high-profile lifestyle.

He said at the time: “Mandy is one of those genuinely sweet angelic people you wish to meet your whole life.”

“Unfortunately, I am allergic to paparazzi and have found the best antidote to that sort of nonsense is staying behind the guitar and typewriter.”

Gisele Bundchen has got married.

The Brazilian supermodel tied the knot with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in a secret ceremony at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, California, yesterday (February 26, 2009).

A source said: “The ceremony took place at dusk and was small and intimate – just what Tom and Gisele wanted.”

The 28-year-old bride wore a fitted ivory lace Dolce and Gabbana gown, which had a trumpet skirt and scalloped edges.

Gisele also had a floor-length veil with handmade satin roses and a long train, along with a satin headband.

Her three dogs attended the event, wearing matching Dolce and Gabbana lace collars.

Most of the guests were from the couple’s immediate family. Tom’s 18-month old son John Edward Thomas – his child with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan – was also present.

Gisele and Tom’s representatives are yet to issue a statement about the nuptials.

Engagement rumors first surfaced last year, when it was claimed Tom, 31, proposed to Gisele on a private plane on Christmas Eve (December 24, 2008).

Gisele was quick to refute the reports, saying: “Someone deduced I was getting engaged. I don’t know how people are so creative.”

The Israeli-born supermodel’s father, Rafael Rafaeli, has reportedly forbidden Bar from marrying outside her faith.

A source said to the New York Daily News newspaper: “He told me that if Leonardo doesn’t convert to Judaism, there will be no marriage.”

The “Revolutionary Road” actor, who has been dating 23-year-old Bar since 2005, recently revealed he wants to wed her.
Leonardo, 34, said: “I absolutely believe in marriage. In saying that I realize I am contradicting everything I’ve said before. Yes, I want to get married and have children.”

“It sounds like the ignorance of youth to me. When did I say those things? Three or Four years ago? Hey, we grow up real fast.”

But if he does pop the question, Leonardo won’t tell anyone about it – he is notoriously secretive about his private life, something he claims is essential to his career.

He said: “Defining yourself to the public on a consistent basis is death to a performer. The more you define who you are personally the less you are able to submerge into the characters you do, and people will think, ‘I don’t buy him in that role.’”
