Lindsay Lohan arrived back at LAX yesterday following her time in NYC for Spring Fashion Week. While LL also dealt with some personal drama back on the East Coast, the cops in California are getting closer to solving the recent robbery at her Hollywood home.

The LAPD has arrested one person and identified another involved in the August burglary, and one of the suspects apparently has been in trouble before for drug-related activity. Lindsay and Samantha seem to be back on track if LL’s Twitter is any indication, so hopefully they can both sleep a little more soundly after the recent police action.

Jessica Alba, Taylor Momsen and Lindsay Lohan made up the starlet contingent out at Fashion Week events in NYC last night.

The leggings designer has been tapped as the Artistic Advisor of much lauded fashion line Emanuel Ungaro.

Forget funky Fornarina ads. The starlet will be collaborating with the label’s newly-appointed chief designer Estrella Archs to put together the looks for the 2010 spring/summer collection, which will walk the runway on Oct. 4 during Paris Fashion Week.

Lindsay Lohan stopped off at the Neil George salon for an appointment yesterday afternoon before being picked up by Samantha Ronson.

Slightly later in the afternoon, the girls were among the guests at DJ AM’s memorial service where loved ones spoke about their friend.

Lindsay and Samantha have had a week of ups and downs, but they came together for a moment of peace to celebrate Adam’s life with so many people who cared about and cherished him.

A source close to the duo tells E! News that Lohan and Samantha Ronson happen to be moving at the same time because both are sick of the constant paparazzi presence outside their respective houses.

We hear that Lohan, who has movers coming Friday to transport all her stuff from her rented Hollywood Hills home to a more secure high-rise apartment in Los Angeles, had been planning her relocation even before the latest break-in.

“That way, in a building, she can have a doorman and be a lot safer,” the source said.

A rep for Lindsay Lohan confirmed the break in, saying “many of her personal belongings were taken without remorse.”

“Lindsay and her sister Ali Lohan were fortunate that they weren’t in the home when this incident happened.

Lindsay’s house has a surveillance system and the police are in custody of the footage.

After a hugely successful stint as guest judge on the Project Runway premiere, Lindsay returned home to find that her Hollywood Hills home has been broken into.

LAPD spokeswoman Norma Eisenman confirms to E! News that police are currently at Lohan’s house, where everyone is cooperating, but no suspects are in custody. “There is a possible burglary investigation going on,” says Eisenman.

Lindsay’s manager mom, Dina Lohan, tells People that when the actress arrived home early this morning, “The safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed.”

Luckily, Lohan is “OK, but upset.” The understandably concerned mother says that the family is already in the process of packing up LiLo’s belongings. “We are moving her to a safer place,” explains the elder Lohan.

Back in May, Lindsay’s house was the victim of an attempted robbery caught on her surveillance cameras.

Not as genuinely funny as Mean Girls, and not as unintentionally hilarious as I Know Who Killed Me, the predictably heinous movie was more embarrassing for supersupporting talent like Cheryl Hines or Bonnie Somerville than it was for Lohan.

We’ve grown to not expect much from Linds anymore. But babes like Cheryl and Bonnie are just going down with the skanky ship.

Sunday claims she was shocked to discover her “Sunless Secret” ingredients were stolen for the 35 US dollar LiLo-branded Sevin Nyne – named after the star’s lucky numbers – which is now on sale.

Lindsay Lohan did a little shopping in LA on Friday before packing her bikinis and heading to Vegas.

She joined friends at the MGM Grand hotel on Saturday for a poolside birthday bash, which also served as a promotional event for her Sevin Nyne products.

The actress’ Hollywood Hills home was broken into Tuesday at around 3 p.m., Los Angeles police confirm to E! News.

“It was an attempted burglary,” spokeswoman Karen Reyner said. “No property was taken and no one was home at the time of the incident.”

There’s no word on any possible suspects but, if they were looking for Lohan, they were flat out of luck. The Labor Pains star is currently in Europe.

It was her home’s alarm system that notified police of a potential break-in and, when they arrived, officers found evidence that someone had been in the house. Per TMZ, there were pry marks on a back door and a window showed signs of tampering.

Meanwhile, a source close to the matter tells E! News that a “person of interest” in the case is a man who is said to have been stalking and making threats against Lohan.

Lindsay Lohan was out and about LA last night, after making a stop at Samantha Ronson’s house earlier in the day. After LL’s appearance on Ellen aired, Samantha updated her Facebook status to “It’s Complicated”. She had previously removed “In a Relationship” when she fought with Lindsay in the beginning of April.

The “Mean Girls” actress – who split from her DJ girlfriend last Friday (April 3, 2009) – had previously said life without Samantha was like living in “hell,” but now insists her romance is not dead and buried.

Asked how she was coping without Samantha, Lindsay replied: “You guys make it seem like it’s so over, but it’s not. People take breaks. It’s OK. It’s normal, they focus on themselves.”

Samantha’s family reportedly hired five security guards to keep Lindsay out of Los Angeles’ Bar Marmont, where Samantha was playing, on Friday.

The DJ then changed the locks on the Hollywood Hills home she shared with Lindsay and was even said to be seeking a restraining order against her, although she has denied the claims.

Lindsay has since claimed she is being shunned by friends of Samantha – including Nicole Richie – calling those close to the DJ “a bunch of disrespectful, unappreciative, jealous people with bad f***ing energy.”

The 22-year-old actress is struggling to cope with the end of the relationship and has reportedly taken to asking paparazzi where Samantha is so she can go and see her.

A source said: “Lindsay was out on Tuesday (April 7, 2009) at a tattoo parlor. She was calling the paps to see who Samantha was with at the Chateau Marmont.”

Meanwhile, Lindsay’s grandmother Marilyn has spoken of her concern for her granddaughter. Speaking from New York, she said: “All the family would like to reach out to her. We’re all here for her and we’d love to see her.”

“Me, as a grandmother, I’d like to try and help her out, but she’s not here, she’s in Los Angeles. I think she needs her family in her life, but they’re not. They should be. I haven’t seen her in over a year.”

“I think what happened is she’s had too much too fast. She was on her own too early.”

The “Mean Girls” actress and her DJ girlfriend called time on their tumultuous relationship on Friday (April 3, 2009) after almost a year together, and Lindsay admits she is struggling to cope on her own.

She said: “It’s absolute hell. It just really hurts, the whole situation is sick.”

Lindsay, 21, was turned away from a party at Los Angeles’ Bar Marmont where Samantha was playing a DJ set late on Friday night, and admits the scenes which unfolded were “humiliating.”

The actress was barred from entering the bash by five security guards – reportedly hired by Samantha’s family to keep her away.

Lindsay told Us Weekly magazine: “It was the worst night of my life.”

Following the incident, Lindsay took to her blog on social networking website Twitter and accused Samantha of cheating on her and taking drugs.

On Saturday (April 4, 2009), Samantha had the locks changed on the Hollywood Hills home she lived at with Lindsay.

A distressed Lindsay said: “I’m not a bad person and this is what happens. I was raised to treat people well, and I’m so tired of this drama.”

The actress admits she feels “so alone” since splitting from the 31-year-old musician, and claims Samantha’s friends – including Nicole Richie – have now turned on her.

Referring to the incident at Bar Marmont, she explained: “I’m a 22-year-old girl who’s in love. I felt like I was in ‘Mean Girls,’ but worse – ‘Mean Girls’ was a movie.”

It has also been claimed Samantha tried to break up with Lindsay many times over the past month but backed out when Lindsay threatened to kill herself.

Meanwhile, Samantha has denied claims she is seeking a restraining order against her former girlfriend.

It was originally claimed the DJ’s mother Ann and sister Charlotte had visited a police station on Monday (April 6, 2009) to inquire about ways to keep the actress away from Samantha.

Her lawyer David Bass said: “Samantha has no plan to request a restraining order. There is no basis for one.”

Lindsay is currently being comforted by her mother Dina and sister Ali, while her father Michael – who has publicly admitted he dislikes Samantha and called for Lindsay to end the relationship – is en route to Los Angeles to see her.

He said: “Break-ups are never pretty and they’re never easy. I’m here for Lindsay any time.”

“I’ve cleared by schedule to go to her. At a time like this she needs someone standing by her side. It’s time for Lindsay to resurrect her life and career.”

She wrote: “ask ur sister 2 stop yelling profanity plz;;stop doing drugs. and tell charlotte to do more-she could loose a stone or 10 (sic)”

Lindsay’s online rants come days after she was refused entry to Charlotte’s party on Friday (April 3, 2009).

Samantha was playing a set at her sister’s bash at Los Angeles’ exclusive Bar Marmont, but when Lindsay arrived she was turned away by five members of security at the door.

The actress was reportedly so desperate to gain entry she even tried to climb over the walls.

A source told gossip website X17Online: “Eventually Lindsay’s friends, the D squared designers who were staying at the Chateau, took pity on her and said they would look after her so they let her into their rooms.”

“But the minute they let her in, Lindsay tried to sneak into the party again! Poor girl just couldn’t get in.”

It has been claimed Samantha’s family had told the security guards not to let Lindsay enter the bash.

Samantha has since changed the locks on the Hollywood Hills house she shared with Lindsay.

A source said: “I’m sure Lindsay and Sam are over. Sam’s family wants her to get away from Lindsay – they think she’s completely nuts!”
