but Kevin’s bulked up physique is the one turning heads this time. There have been rumors that the formerly fit backup dancer/aspiring rapper was putting on the lbs for a weight loss show,

but either way he looks a lot different than he did a few years back. At least the boys look happy splashing around with dad and his girlfriend in the pool.

It’s Britney Spears‘ wife-beater-loving ex-husband Kevin Federline, and he’s eyeing a new reality program to show off his latest girlfriend, Victoria Prince, and (gasp) his two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, a source tells E! News.

“Victoria is a big part of the series,” says the source. “They are not engaged, but she lives with him full-time in his place in Encino.”

Lucky for Victoria, Britney seems to have given the “step-in mommy” her seal of approval. “Victoria and Britney first met before Britney’s tour at Kevin’s home,” says our source. “They had a meeting face-to-face, when Victoria was home alone with the kids. It was awkward, but Britney was nice.”

When she isn’t helping out with the kids, our source says that K-Fed’s girlfriend, a former AVP volleyball player, is taking online graduate classes in communication. “Victoria actually quit her entry-level job at Fox Sports in L.A. after meeting Kevin,” says the source. “She’s considering returning to volleyball, but isn’t sure.”

This isn’t the first time K-Fed has tried to reprise his role as a reality star since Britney & Kevin: Chaotic aired four years ago. In February 2008, he reportedly canceled a possible show after Britney’s infamous breakdown.

A rep for VH1 could not confirm that the couple is working on a show with the network, and Kevin’s rep has not returned E!’s request for comment.

Just in case you were worried that Britney Spears couldn’t possibly afford to pay all those legal bills and lead her usual swanky lifestyle—fear not.

Sure, Spears’ estate shelled out more than $3 million in legal fees between Feb. 1, 2008 and Dec. 31, including the $625,000 she was ordered to hand over to Kevin Federline for his family court expenses.

But she had plenty left over, considering she racked up bills of $447,634 for security; $49,387 for home repairs and maintenance; $105,000 to rent her Malibu digs; and $178,818 for childcare.

Other expenses that qualify Spears’ status as rich: $188,556 on assistants and other employees; $285,594 in mortgage payments; $5,998 for “decorations”; and $1.06 million in “miscellaneous business expenses.”

All told, Spears spent upward of $10 million during those 11 months.

The source added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “For Christmas, Sandip – or Sandy as Britney calls him – presented her with a traditional Indian sari. She wore it during a candlelit dinner.”

“The pair were whispering and giggling all night. Sandip ordered local delicacies such as chicken tikka and cottage cheese curry.”

Earlier this month, Sandip revealed he was looking forward to working with Britney on routines for her upcoming world tour.

He said: “I’ll be meeting her for work only, when she visits Jodhpur. We’ll just be doing a bit of rehearsals, since I am planning to do the rumba, which is the dance of love.”

Kevin Federline has revealed that he found it hard to cope when Britney Spears was hospitalised at the beginning of this year.

The singer was taken to an LA medical centre on a stretcher after suffering a breakdown.

‘That whole night is a blur,’ he says. ‘You want to talk about one of my lowest points of depression, that was probably one of them.

‘I was very, very worried for her because I care about her.’

Britney Spears has taken her sons to her home state for the first time since she lost custody.

The “Womanizer” singer – whose ex-husband Kevin Federline has been the primary carer of Sean Preston, three and two-year-old Jayden James since Britney’s breakdown in January – has increasingly been allowed to spend more time with the boys but this weekend’s visit to Louisiana was the first time she has been allowed to take them out of California.

A source close to Britney – who currently has two visits and an overnight stay each week with her children – insists the star’s trip proves she is getting her life back on track.

The insider said: “Britney is becoming stronger each day, is clear-headed and focused on her children and work.”

The visit was reportedly planned in order for Britney – who performed on stage with Madonna last week – to take a break from work before she embarks on a grueling promotional schedule for her forthcoming album “Circus.”

It also allowed Sean Preston and Jayden James to spend time with their cousin, Britney’s sister Jamie Lynn’s daughter Maddie.

The singer, her sons, and father Jamie reportedly boarded a private plane in California on Friday night (Nov 7, 2008), and flew directly to Kentwood, Louisiana, where the majority of Britney’s immediate family live.

Singer Britney Spears has finally reached an agreement with former husband Kevin Federline allowing her more access to her children.

The settlement allows the fallen pop princess more overnight visits with her kids.

The settlement was agreed with lawyers and a Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner in a closed-door session.

Spears’ attorney, Laura Wasser, said the 26-year-old will be able to spend more time with her young sons.

Wasser said Federline, 30, would retain full custody, but Spears may get expanded rights by the end of the year.

Neither Spears nor Federline attended the hearing.

The agreement also means a custody trial that had been scheduled for next month will not take place now.

Wasser revealed that the singer will now have three visits a week from Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, with at least two overnight visits.

“The fact is, it’s a win for the family,” BBC quoted her, as saying.

Lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, who represents Federline, said his client was also pleased that an agreement had been reached.

Spears and Federline were married in 2004 and finalized their divorce last July.

Earlier this month, the court commissioner decided to keep the order in effect after Spears made a flying visit to the courthouse, but left without entering the court.

During an incident at her home on the night of January 3, Spears locked herself in a room with one of the boys and was later taken to a hospital in an ambulance chased by photographers.

After she saw her visitation rights to her two sons suspended following a stand-off with police the singer may have wanted to keep a low profile.

The star was hospitalised recently after refusing to hand over her two sons Sean Preston, two, and one-year-old Jayden James, when police reputedly found her under the influence of an “unidentified substance”.

But the 26-year-old has opted to keep herself in the news by making a very visible trip to a pharmacy with her new boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.

Spears and 35-year-old Ghalib were snapped clearly scanning the shelves of the Rite Aid store in Studio City, California, for home pregnancy tests.

However, the veracity of the pictures is cast into doubt by Ghalib’s involvement – the photos were reportedly released by his own photo agency, FinalPixx.

Britney’s cousin and former assistant Alli Sims has recently hit out at Ghalib’s involvement in the Toxic star’s life, saying he has “bad intentions”.

Simms told Us Weekly: “I do not think Adnan is a good person… He has given me a weird feeling and creeped me out. I wish he would just go away.”

But Simms denied that Spears’ public meltdown had anything to do with drug abuse, despite the fact that the ruling judge in Spears’ custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline has labelled her a “habitual, frequent and continuous” user of controlled substances and alcohol.

“I do not think that is the issue at all,” Simms said. “I was with her for eight months pretty much every day and never witnessed anything like that – and I lived there.”

A friend found the letter, which revealed the pop star’s fears that she cannot live up to the expectations of her family and fans, in her bathroom after she was rushed to a hospital earlier this month following a child custody dispute.

The 26-year-old suffers from manic depression and possibly multiple personality disorder, a source close to the singer told The Sun.

The source said: “The letter was very sad. Britney talked about her loneliness, how unfair life is and not being able to trust people.

According to the source, the friend, who thought the letter a “cry for help”, confronted Spears about it, but she laughed it off. “Everybody thinks about death,” she reportedly said.

Spear’s melt-down earlier this month followed a three-hour stand-off with a bodyguard of her former husband, Kevin Federline, as she refused to hand over their children.

Following the dispute, a judge suspended her already limited visitation rights for Sean Preston, two, and one-year-old Jayden James.

Earlier this week the singer missed a chance to persuade a judge to restore her visitation rights when she arrived almost four hour late and then refused to enter the building.

Brit reportedly described Ghalib as her “only friend” after she was admitted to L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai medical centre following a stand-off with police at her Beverly Hills home last week.

Britney Spears has been hospitalised after police were called to her Los Angeles home to resolve a custody dispute.

The singer was seen being wheeled out of her house on a stretcher after emergency services rushed to a Los Angeles gated community when the star had delayed handing over custody of her children to her ex-husband.

It is believed the 26-year-old has been taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre for “evaluation” after police found her under the influence of an unknown substance.

Under current court-mandated arrangements, Spears is allowed two visits a week with her two sons while her former spouse Kevin Federline holds primary custody of the children.

The police were called in after the Baby One More Time star did not hand over her children on time which is against the terms of a court order.

According to Us magazine, Spears stayed with her children for 90 minutes longer than her scheduled time in spite of being asked to hand over her children by Federline’s bodyguard.

Details over whether Spears has handed over custody of her children are yet to be released.

Earlier in the day, the singer arrived to give evidence in a deposition with her former husband’s attorney. Previously Spears has missed two scheduled hearings and she arrived over one-and-a-half hours late for the hearing and left after giving just 14 minutes of testimony.

While the attorney for Spears’ husband said the pop princess had been “cooperative”, he stated that he had requested another hearing to obtain further evidence.

Yesterday, Spears’ legal team asked to be taken off the case. The singer’s lawyer said a communication breakdown had taken place that had made “further representation of her interests impossible”.

Speaking about the police presence at the star’s home, Spears’ attorney Sorrell Trope said: “In a normal case when someone shows up with a certified court order saying the kids need to be somewhere else, the police see to it that the order is obeyed. But that is in a normal case.”

If the court permits the firm to end their professional relationship with her, Spears will have to search for her fourth team of legal representatives since the beginning of the custody battle with Kevin Federline.

The singer and her former spouse are involved in legal proceedings to determine the time each one of them spends with their two children.

Previously in the case, a court in Los Angeles ended Spears’ joint custody arrangement after she missed a drugs test and media reports raised questions about her lifestyle.

According to Mark Vincent Kaplan, his client Kevin Federline is eager to restart court proceedings as soon as possible.

Britney is currently embroiled in a long-running dispute with her ex-husband Federline for the custody of their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

“Britney Spears will have her deposition early this year,” Kaplan told People magazine in Beverly Hills late Saturday night. “We’ve got a lot to talk about.”

Spears missed her initial deposition on December 12th citing illness and physical anxiety for her absence.

However Kaplan has questioned her claims, saying: “She was, in fact, out later that day and night. It’s not fourth grade where you get a doctor’s note and it’s all okay.”

The judge ruling in the case has previously criticised the Toxic singer for being a “habitual, frequent and continuous” user of alcohol and controlled substances and ordered to her to undergo regular drug tests and attend parenting sessions.

“Kevin isn’t interested, nor am I, in punishing her,” Kaplan continued. “We just want to get information necessary to proceed further. I am hoping remedies which include continuing hearings are all theoretical.”

No celebrity is more poised to make a dramatic comeback than troubled pop superstar Britney Spears. Things have got so bad for the singer lately, both professionally and personally, that there is only one way to go from here – up.

As Spears attempts a comeback with her just released album “Blackout”, all eyes are on her to see how she redeems herself. Britney’s slide down to shame has been long and dramatic and sometimes hilarious. She shaved her head, abused drugs, divorced Kevin Federline and lost custody of her children to him, displayed her behind not wearing underwear, and was responsible for one of the worst and most embarrassing performances by a superstar when she sang at the MTV Video Music Awards recently.

Even as Spears embarks on what will prove to be a long arduous road to a comeback, she can seek inspiration in the many others who have been where she was and have got out through sheer will and mostly luck.

Artistes like Santana, Aerosmith, Loretta Lynn and most famously Mariah Carey have crawled out of the ash heap of ruined careers to wow us all.

Santana’s fall into obscurity was no fault of his own. His style of music and virtuoso guitar simply went out of style and could not keep fans’ interest alive. But in 1999, in what will have to be one of the greatest comebacks of all time, he released “Supernatural”. Though it was mainly collaborations with stars of that day, it proved to be phenomenally successful, selling more than 15 million copies.

The late Grateful Dead legend Jerry Garcia once described the rock band Aerosmith as “the druggiest bunch of guys I’ve ever seen”. The band hit the dumps so bad they spent five years apart from each other, but with the help of rehabilitation managed to come back in the 1980s. They still manage to sell a decent number of albums and their crowd pull at concerts is commendable.

Sometimes all it takes to get you motivated enough to drag yourself to the studio to record again is the flattering praise of a young fan who just happens to be one of the biggest rock stars of his day. That’s what happened to country music legend Loretta Lynn when White Stripes lead singer Jack White collaborated with her on the award-winning album “Van Lear Rose” released in 2004.

Lynn was most famous in the 1980s when actress Sissy Spacek won an Academy Award for portraying her in the movie “Coal Miner’s Daughter”. After that she drifted out of the scene, even resigning herself to the fact that her career was over. But Jack White, a more than enthusiastic fan, met her and out of that was born the idea to do an album. White arranged, produced, and lent his voice too.

But the one comeback Spears can take the most inspiration from is Mariah Carey’s. Carey like Spears, though nowhere as shameful, ridiculed herself before she crashed. In the summer of 2001, Carey reached a low point when she went on MTV and distributed popsicles before performing a striptease.

She told the host of the show TRL, “I just want one day off when I can go swimming and eat ice cream and look at rainbows.” A few days later she was hospitalised and the official explanation was “extreme exhaustion”.

A few years later she came out with the hugely successful album “The Emancipation of Mimi”, which won critical raves and re-established her to her pre-breakdown level of fame.

Some have watched with amused glee as Spears finds innovative ways to embarrass herself almost every other day. But there are more who sincerely hope that she will pull herself by the bootstraps and redeem herself. Everyone loves an underdog. Here’s hoping.
