Kate Moss has auctioned a kiss for charity.

The supermodel sold the smooch for $7,300 in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital – a specialist children’s hospital in London – at a fund raiser on Wednesday night (March 18, 2009).

When bidding began to slow down the 35-year-old beauty volunteered to wear a police uniform for the embrace to help increase offers.

Kate – who is currently dating The Kills front man Jamie Hince – was joined by actor Orlando Bloom and fashion designer Sadie Frost at the Mummy Rocks event which raised $73,000 for hospital equipment and research program.

The evening – which was also celebrating motherhood – was held at the Garrard jewelers flagship store near Bond Street, London, and was hosted by the Garrard’s creative director Stephen Webster.

Other lots included an exclusive 18ct white gold, white diamond and ruby “Mummy Rocks” locket, designed for Mothering Sunday (March 22, 2009) and lunch with British TV star Stephen Fry.

Kate Moss is taking vitamins because she is ”totally into” looking after her health.

The British supermodel – who is believed to be expecting a child with her boyfriend, The Kills rocker Jamie Hince – is determined to take care of her body this year.

She said: “I plan to totally get into looking after myself, taking the right vitamins and all the stuff you read about.”

The 34-year-old star even plans to give up smoking, although she admits she expects to find it hard to kick the habit.

She added to Britain’s New! magazine: “I love to smoke. I know it’s bad, but it’s one of my life pleasures. I will be getting for good. I know I have to look after myself.”

Kate recently dismissed rumors she is pregnant, insisting she has gained weight which makes her breasts look bigger than usual.

She said: “I am a woman now. It’s true. Honestly, I’ve never worn a bra in my life. Ever!”

“It’s so awful, even my friends are phoning me up and saying, ‘Are you pregnant?’”

“And I’m like, ‘No! I just put on a couple of pounds and they went in the right place.’ Isn’t that weird?”

The British supermodel is relocating Stateside because her lover, The Kills’ rocker Jamie Hince, wants to try and make it in America.

The supermodel – who already has a six-year-old daughter Lila Grace with ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack – is said to be planning to reveal her happy news at her Cotswolds country home on December 18.

It is believed she will gather all her close friends and family together to tell them she and partner Jamie Hince are having their first child together.

A source said: “Kate has been on the phone to all her friends and her PA has been on the case to her family.”
