The actress – who stars alongside the British actor in new spy thriller “Duplicity” – admits their raunchy love scenes were uncomfortable to shoot.

She said: “It comes in handy when you know somebody well, because you can just look at each other and say, ‘Isn’t this incredible uncomfortable?’”

“And then there’ll be my son, Henry, on set, just looking from the corner. It’s pretty hideous actually!”

Despite being firm friends with Clive, the mother-of-three – who raises four-year-old twins Phinnaeus and Hazel and 20-month-old Henry with her husband Daniel Moder – was anxious about stripping off so soon after giving birth.

She explained to Britain’s Closer magazine: “To be honest, I was kind of panicking about it. You have a baby and you just want to stay at home in your elasticated-waist pants.”

Julia – who also starred alongside the 44-year-old actor in 2004 drama “Closer” – recently admitted they laughed their way through the raunchier moments in “Duplicity.”

She said: “We did laugh the whole time. We’ve got a very similar sense of humor.”

“The poor director, Tony Gilroy, had to have a lot of patience. The steamier it got the funnier we found it.”

She joked: “Early on, I mean, I would take any job that was offered… not really! But, yeah, I never quite had that kind of momentum in work that some people do.”

She said: “My husband had been away and just returned home so I felt it best to stay home and be with my family.”

“That was my priority so we watched the show on television. Of course life has changed and I work less, but I was never one to work too much.”

“I never did years of movie-after-movie-after-movie but when you’ve got three toddlers in the house you’re performing all day long, anyway, with puppet shows and stories – I act around the clock.”

But even though Julia loves being a mother, she admits it’s not always easy.

She added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “My life at home gives me absolute joy.”

“But there are some days when as soon as you’ve finished cooking breakfast and cleaning the kitchen it’s time to start lunch and by the time you’ve done that you’re doing dinner and thinking there has to be a menu we can order from.”

“But some days are so much fun and my kids will help me and it’s just a part of your day. Some days it’s super-fun and some days it’s a chore.”

According to Palumbo, the laws regarding children are clearly defined and, although he understood Roberts’ anger, she didn’t clearly define what the paparazzo was doing. As a result, Palumbo implies that pressing charges could be difficult.

One paparazzo shouldn’t annoy you that much. Maybe Julia should walk a few miles in Britney’s shoes.

Last year, Julia Roberts presented the American Cinematheque award to pal George Clooney. This time it was her turn to receive the honor.

The smile, the laugh and the looks that have become familiar to movie-goers were on full display on Friday as Roberts was recognized for her contributions to the film industry. On hand were Tom Hanks, Natalie Portman and Sally Field. Roberts said she came along at the right time to turn into an A-list actress.

“I think I came along at a kinder time in the business,” Roberts said. “It wasn’t about fashion, and there weren’t so many media outlets, it was just kind of different. You could really cultivate your work a little more gently.”

Roberts’ portrayal of crusading legal advocate “Erin Brockovich” won the actress an Oscar and a Golden Globe. The actress’ film credits also include “Pretty Woman,” “Steel Magnolias” and “Mystic Pizza.”

Other notable Cinematheque Award recipients include Steven Spielberg, Nicole Kidman, Sean Connery, and Al Pacino.

Actress Julia Roberts will be honoured at the 22nd American Cinematheque award.

The American Cinematheque Award annually honours ‘an extraordinary artist in the entertainment industry who is fully engaged in his or her work and is committed to making a significant contribution to the art of the motion pictures’.

The Oscar winning actress will be presented the award at the Beverly Hilton’s International Ballroom on October 12, Variety magazine reports.

The award ceremony will be broadcasted exclusively on AMC in December.

The 39-year-old actress presented the award to actor George Clooney last year.

Since its inception in 1986, the non-profit committee has given awards to several actors, directors and writers including actor Al Pacino, actress Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage, Tom Cruise and others.
