The 19-year-old Aldridge was driving his Ford F-250 truck in rural Tensas Parish, La. around 1:20 a.m. with four male friends when he lost control of his vehicle.Aldridge’s truck flipped over at least once after he drifted off the road and overcorrected.

Aldridge received a careless operation traffic citation, which Louisiana State Trooper Mark Dennis defined as “operating a motor vehicle and endangering the life, limb and property of any person, including oneself.”

What does this mean for Aldridge? “With any traffic citation it means appearing in front of a judge to explain what happened or it may be payable out of court.”

The animal rights groups latest ad campaign has used the 16-year-old’s shock pregnancy to urge pet owners to spay and neuter their dogs and cats.

Whilst PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk claims the ad was filmed before the teen announced her pregnancy last month – she hopes people make the connection.

“Just as (Jamie Lynn’s mother) Lynne Spears is under scrutiny because of her underage daughter’s pregnancy, people who fail to spay and neuter their animals should also be feeling the heat,” claims Newkirk.

“No one should be bringing more animals into the world when millions of deserving, wonderful dogs and cats are dying for good homes.”

The short film shows a 16-year-old girl being encouraged to “pop out babies” by her parents.

When the appalled girl asks, “What if I get pregnant?” the parents respond by urging her to “pop out all the kids you can”.

The ad, which has been posted on PETA’s official website, will be broadcast on Jamie Lynn’s local ABC affiliate in her native Louisiana, TV network WGNO next week.

The 16-year-old actress – whose Nickelodeon TV show ‘Zoey 101’ has been axed since she revealed she was pregnant – has reportedly begun studying for the General Educational Development tests, used to gain a high school equivalency degree.

Jamie, the sister of troubled pop star Britney Spears, was spotted leaving the Tangipahoa Parish School System Adult Education Centre in Hammond, Louisiana, on Friday (04.01.08) carrying a GED book. The building also houses the Title I Parent Centre, which teaches parents how to help their children improve their reading skills.

The child star previously attended the prestigious Parklane Academy in McComb, Mississippi. Jamie studied at the academy off-and-on for years, depending on her filming schedule.

A school staff-member claims Jamie enrolled at the school full-time in November, saying she had finished filming. After Thanksgiving, Jamie said she was needed back in Los Angeles.

The source told People magazine: “If Jamie had tried to stay, she would most probably have been expelled for being pregnant.”

A spokesman for Parklane Academy refused to comment.

Britney Spears is set for a custody showdown early next year, her ex-husband’s lawyer has revealed.

According to Mark Vincent Kaplan, his client Kevin Federline is eager to restart court proceedings as soon as possible.

Britney is currently embroiled in a long-running dispute with her ex-husband Federline for the custody of their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

“Britney Spears will have her deposition early this year,” Kaplan told People magazine in Beverly Hills late Saturday night. “We’ve got a lot to talk about.”

Spears missed her initial deposition on December 12th citing illness and physical anxiety for her absence.

However Kaplan has questioned her claims, saying: “She was, in fact, out later that day and night. It’s not fourth grade where you get a doctor’s note and it’s all okay.”

The judge ruling in the case has previously criticised the Toxic singer for being a “habitual, frequent and continuous” user of alcohol and controlled substances and ordered to her to undergo regular drug tests and attend parenting sessions.

“Kevin isn’t interested, nor am I, in punishing her,” Kaplan continued. “We just want to get information necessary to proceed further. I am hoping remedies which include continuing hearings are all theoretical.”

Aldridge’s teachers and his classmates have spoken about the 18-year-old after his name hit headlines when girlfriend Jamie-Lynn Spears disclosed the news of her pregnancy.

His former teacher at Amite School Center, where Aldridge lettered in football and baseball, served as senior class president and graduated in May 2007, referred to him as a handsome boy with a bright future.

“Casey is one of those boys who really have a lot going for him. He’s handsome, smart and very, very charming,” People quoted the teacher, as saying.

The 6′1″ and 165 lbs, Aldridge was fancied by girls owing to his athletic and magnetic personality.

Jamie-Lynn was also one of those fans and started dating Aldridge about two years ago and Aldridge quite liked the attention that came along dating Britney’s younger sister.

The classmate also revealed that Aldridge also loved to have a good time and was a prankster in class, the report said.

“If there was a prank, he was involved. Things like sending around a note in class for everyone to cough at (the same time),” added the classmate.

According to a teacher, despite being mischievous during high school, Aldridge was a true charmer and that’s what prevented him from ever getting into much trouble, the report added.

“There was a little part of (Leave it to Beaver’s) Eddie Haskell in him. He’d say, ‘You look very nice today. Is that a new dress?’ And you’d be wondering, ‘What’s this kid’s angle?’ The difference between him and Eddie Haskell is that Casey’s angle was that he truly wanted you to like him, and wanted to give you a compliment,” said the teacher.

According to the report, people around him are sure that Aldridge will prove to be a good father, despite his high school extravaganzas.

“When he decides that something is the right thing to do, he is very effective. If he decides he’s going to be a great father, he will do whatever it takes to do a good job, whether that means working construction to support the baby, or reading books about how to change diapers,” said his teacher.
