Megan Fox hates being a sex symbol.

The “Transformers” star – who is regularly voted the world’s sexiest woman – wants to be known for her acting skills rather than her stunning looks.

She told Empire magazine: “You can’t be a sex symbol 24 hours a day. I can’t be a professional celebrity or a professional sexpot. I can’t do that to myself. I just want to work and make the right choices, and study and develop as an actress.”

“I don’t want to be on the cover of every magazine that exists. I want to try not to do that. It’s my job to show people something different.”

Although she is keen to distance herself from sexy roles, it was recently revealed Megan is tipped to be the next Lara Croft.

The 22-year-old actress is said to be favorite to portray the dare-devil archaeologist character in the new “Tomb Raider” movie.

A source said: “Megan is definitely a strong candidate for the part.”

Angelina Jolie previously played the heroine in “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” and “Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.’”

Katy Perry says Lily Allen ”looks hot.”

The two singers became embroiled in a war of words after the US star described herself as a “slimmer version of Lily Allen” but the “Hot N Cold” star insists she never meant to cause offense.

Katy told Heat magazine: “I really didn’t mean to upset her. What I actually said was that I was a skinnier version of Lily Allen and a fatter version of Amy Winehouse. But Lily is skinny now. She is hot – she looks really good.”

Despite feeling confident about her body now, Katy admits she was given the less-than-flattering nickname of “Nip-Slip” when she was younger.

She explained: “It comes from when I didn’t have boobs, or much of them.”

Lily was so infuriated by Katy’s remarks, she previously threatened to post the singer’s telephone number on the internet.

She branded the “I Kissed A Girl” star “crass” and claimed they were “nothing alike because you’re not English and you don’t write your own songs.”

Zac Efron thinks his fans are ”insane.”

The 21-year-old actor was greeted by the deafening shrieks of his young admirers when he arrived at the UK premiere of his new film “17 Again” in London’s Leicester Square last night (March 26, 2009).

Zac – who rose to fame in Disney’s teen hit “High School Musical” – spent half an hour signing autographs and posing for picture with fans, who overwhelmed him with their enthusiasm and volume.

Speaking about his warm welcome, the actor told BANG Showbiz: “It’s insane. This is the biggest one yet. It’s so crazy.”

In the film, Zac plays the younger self of Mike O’Donnell, a frustrated businessman who gets the chance to be 17 again and change his life.

But if the same thing happened to Zac, he insists he wouldn’t alter his life. He said: “It’s all going pretty well so far. I wouldn’t do anything differently.”

When it comes to the film, Zac is nervous about how it will be received.

He added: “I can’t wait to see what everybody thinks. It’s definitely different, but this is a movie to bring along the fans, I didn’t do anything too different.”

Asked if he would be prepared to do a full frontal nude scene, Zac said: “You look so excited. I don’t know. Honestly, I don’t know.”

Nude or not, the young star is determined to get rid of his clean-cut image and move into different roles.

He said: “Most of the directors I’d want to work with don’t even know who I am. Their daughters might.”

Hugh Grant is planning to spend Valentine’s Day with ex-girlfriend Jemima Khan.

The “Love Actually’”actor, who split from the beauty in 2007 after a three-year romance, is reportedly planning a romantic meal at their favorite London restaurant on Saturday (February 14, 2009).

A source told Britain’s Grazia magazine: “Hugh has booked a table at the Riva restaurant in Barnes on Valentine’s Day.”

The “Seven Pounds” actor topped Forbes.com’s Star Currency list, which ranks stars according to their financial power at the box office.

Forbes said: “Will Smith stands alone as the only actor to score a perfect 10 among industry voters in the Star Currency survey.”

John Burman, of Forbes Media, has praised Will’s acting talents, saying: “He can move from doing the pop film to an ‘Ali’ to a ‘Seven Pounds’ to ‘The Pursuit of Happyness,’ so he’s able to play in all worlds and I think people just like watching him on screen.”

Will’s last eight films have all opened at number one in the US box office, and worldwide his three top-grossing films alone have made more than $2 billion.

Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie all tied for second place in the survey, with a star currency score of 9.89.

Factors used to determine stars’ currency ratings included the box office success of their films, the ability to attract financing for a project and their appeal to different audience demographics.

The results are based on surveys of 150 movie professionals including directors and producers, who were asked to rate over 1,400 actors.

Other stars in the top 20 include Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Jack Nicholson and Matt Damon.

British paparazzo Adnan reportedly told friends last month he is Britney’s boyfriend, despite her obtaining a restraining order against him last week.

According to Heat magazine, a source claims Adnan – who has not been seen with the “Womanizer” singer in over a year – said: “I still love Britney. I’m her boyfriend.”

“Britney has a beautiful soul. We share something really special. The truth about us will come out eventually, but it’s not for me to talk about. I love her.”

Adnan’s relationship with Britney, 27, was quickly curtailed when Britney’s father Jamie became her co-conservator – and was placed in control of her money and affairs – in February last year.

In the same month, Adnan was given his first temporary order requiring him to stay at least 250 yards away from Britney – who was hospitalized at the time at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for observation.

Adnan abided by its terms until July when the order expired and wasn’t renewed.

However, Britney gained another temporary order against Adnan and her former manager Sam Lutfi which accused them both of trying to “disrupt” the conservatorship order earlier this month.

A hearing has been scheduled for February 23 which will review the restraining order.

Nick will guest star on The CW’s “One Tree Hill” later this season, E! Online reports.

The former boy-bander-turned-reality-star will apparently be playing himself on the show. Nick pays a visit to Tree Hill after Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) is hesitiant to sell one of the songs she wrote for Nick to a record label.

It’s a busy time for Nick, who is gearing up for his own album release (“Coming Up For Air”) in the spring.

The Australian-raised actress – who divides her time between Los Angeles and London – says the savory spread and the smell of sun cream are the home comforts she misses most.

Supermodel Cindy Crawford, 41, proved her body is still in great shape by claiming second spot, while ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’ star Ellen Barkin, 53, grabbed third place.

Oscar-nominated actress Glenn Close, 60, finished in fourth position, while 45-year-old ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Marcia Cross – who gave birth to twin daughters in February – came fifth.

Michelle, who is renowned for her sexy slender figure, recently revealed there is no big secret to keeping in shape and admits she regularly indulges her craving for calorific treats.
