A judge in London’s High Court officially granted the troubled soul diva a divorce from Blake Fielder-Civil today, dissolving a tumultuous two-year union marked by constant substance abuse, fights, run-ins with the paparazzi and the law, and bizarro behavior that threatened to wreck Winehouse’s career.

Per court papers, the estranged couple received a “decree nisi,” meaning the court approved a provisional divorce, which will be made absolute six weeks from now on Aug. 28 unless cause is shown otherwise why it should not.

Neither the 25-year-old Winehouse nor the 27-year-old Fielder-Civil attended the brief hearing.

The pair tied the knot in Miami on May 18, 2007, in Miami, but it was a relationship frequently spent under the influence, to the point where Winehouse later acknowledged their “whole marriage was based on doing drugs.”

That is, when the former video production assistant was around. Until last February, he spent the better part of their two years together in prison for assaulting a barkeep.

Despite Winehouse’s repeated declarations of loyalty to her hubby, Fielder-Civil was the one to initiate the divorce, claiming she had committed adultery and that he found it “intolerable” to live with her.

For her part, the “Rehab” singer didn’t deny the allegations, telling Britain’s Now magazine in March that she “had some fun with a lovely bloke in St. Lucia.” But she insisted Fielder-Civil remained her one true love and she would refuse to “let him divorce me.” In the end, she did, however.

Winehouse left the Caribbean island last week and returned to her native Britain, where she’s expected to stand trial on charges of hitting a fan at a society ball last September.

Her parents, however, last month expressed misgivings that their drug-addled daughter will be able to kick the habit that’s caused her to cancel many a comeback concert.

While acknowledging the progress she’s made in a drug-treatment program, her father, Mitch, told Britain’s ITV News that Winehouse continues to drink.

No other details about the birth have been released, but mother
and baby are said to be doing well.

Ben and Jennifer, both 36, already have a three-year-old daughter,
Violet. Jennifer has previously spoken about her desire to extend her

another – hopefully, knock on wood, someday. My job is great to have

Welsh opera singer KATHERINE JENKINS has signed the biggest classical recording deal in history as she sets her sights on conquering America.
Jenkins, 28, has ditched her record label Universal Classics + Jazz and signed up with Warner Music in a $10 million (GBP5.8 million), five album deal.
It dwarfs the $1.73 million (GBP1 million) six-album deal that Jenkins signed with Universal, and is the biggest contract in classical music history, reports British newspaper the Daily Telegraph.

Socialite heiress Paris Hilton has gone dark with black locks, thick gothic make-up and leather bondage gear for her role as a villain in a horror movie.

Hilton is pictured as villain Amber Sweet in Repo! The Genetic Opera that is based on a stage show of the same name, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Set in 2056, the horror movie is about an epidemic of organ failures that threatens the future of mankind.

The film is due for release in the US Nov 7.

This isn’t the first time that Paris has starred in a horror film.

Jennifer Aniston says shooting a cameo appearance for ”30 Rock” was ”awesome.”

The former “Friends” actress – who stars as a “free-spirited stalker” in the one-off episode of the hit US sitcom – was thrilled to land a role on the show, and described castmembers including Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey as “stellar.”

Jennifer said: “It was awesome, really, really fun, and the cast are stellar.”

Angelina Jolie is considering adopting another child.The “Wanted” actress – who gave birth to twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline last month – was so affected by footage of the recent earthquake in China she is contemplating giving a home to a child orphaned in the natural disaster.”

A source told Britain’s Star magazine: “Angelina is devastated over the earthquake that occurred in China in May. She has been in constant touch with relief workers as part of her UN involvement, and even got her hands on photos of a few orphaned kids.”

Actress Malavika has alleged that a producer tried to molest her after she could not do certain dance steps, due to pregnancy, while shooting for a film. “I found it difficult to do certain difficult dance steps due to my pregnancy. I had agreed to do the film but its shooting had been delayed. The producer, Anjaneyulu, came into my caravan and ‘tried to physically examine me’ to find out whether I am really pregnant,” the actress said by phone from Mumbai Sunday.

The alleged incident took place Friday in Hyderabad during the shooting of a Telugu film featuring Malavika as the female lead.

Denying the charges, the producer has threatened to claim defamation charges, amounting to Rs.7.5 million, against her.

“The accusations made by the actress are false and baseless. She refused to do what was required of her for the film under some pretext of the other. I will challenge her charges in court and claim damages,” Anjaneyulu said.

“While I am not saying that I will not complete the film, I am willing to face the matter in any court,” the actress said.

A personal letter from Cameron Diaz was handed out to members of the press on Saturday (April 26), with the star apologizing for her absence from the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie and offering her thanks for support following the recent death of her father.

One close friend said of Billie’s plans: “Her dream is her, Lawrence and a big brood of kids running around barefoot in their Sussex home with chickens.”

Her agent Michael Foster said: “I don’t know whether either Billie is pregnant, or whether Chris would be the godfather. I just don’t know. I can’t confirm anything.”

Piper and Evans are the country’s two most amicable celebrity divorcees.

Not only was he invited to Billie’s New Year wedding but he also hosted, and reportedly paid for the reception at his own pub, The Lickfold Inn, a 15th-century hostelry in the West Sussex village.

When Chris married professional golfer Natasha Shish­manian last year he invited Billie and her new husband to his wedding in Portugal. The foursome are sometimes seen ­dining out at the White Horse pub in Midhurst.
