Jennifer Lopez has a room just for her wigs.

The singer-and-actress reportedly owns so many hairpieces she has built a “wiggery” in her New York mansion, which she shares with her husband Marc Anthony and their 13-month-old twins Max and Emme.

A source said: “Jennifer keeps the door locked and hardly ever lets anyone in the room, not even Marc.”

“The shelves on the walls are full of plastic heads holding the best hairpieces money can buy.”

Jennifer, 39, is so obsessed with changing her hair she constantly updates her collection and is keen to try out new styles.

The source added to National Enquirer magazine: “Her actual hair is shoulder-length.”

“Her wigs allow her to experiment with different looks and styles without having to have extensions or grown her own locks.”

“She has short, long and super-long looks. Her wigs are so elaborate they take on a life of their own.”

Isla Fisher insisted on wearing five-inch heels while filming her new movie.

The Australian actress – who plays fashionista Rebecca Bloomwood in “Confessions of a Shopaholic” – thought strutting around in the towering footwear would help her get into character.

Asked if it was true she asked to wear the skyscraper shoes, Isla laughed: “I did! I thought there’s something funny about a shopaholic buying ridiculously high heels and tottering through the comedy, I thought it would be amusing. It was less amusing, actually, when I had to do it every day!”

Isla – who was dressed by legendary stylist Patricia Field for the movie – wears a different outfit in almost every scene of the film, but decided against asking to keep any of the outlandish clothes.

The 33-year-old actress told BANG Showbiz: “I didn’t keep anything. I loved wearing the costumes, but at the end of the day they are Rebecca Bloomwood’s costumes and I felt like her in them. I don’t know how I would have felt in my everyday life in those heels.”

The singer has topped GQ magazine’s list of the Ten Most Stylish Men in America for his impact on fashion and his ”knack for targeting trends.”

Justin – who has his own clothing line William Rust – topped the list because of his willingness to take style risks with his use of hats, three-piece suits, skinny ties and facial hair.

The list also includes T.I. – who features on Justin’s song “My Love” – Kanye West, Jason Schwartzman, hotelier Andre Balazs and photographer Alexi Lubomirski.
Despite his grand title, Justin believes British supermodel Kate Moss is the ultimate fashion icon because she “could put a barrel on and it would be some sort of statement.”

Justin – who has been dating actress Jessica Biel since early 2007 – was recently thrown a surprise party by Jessica to celebrate turning 28.

A source said: “Justin was totally blown away when he walked in. He had no idea.”

The couple have been slammed by animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for wearing fur and are currently at numbers one and two respectively in the voting for the organization’s annual poll.

A PETA spokesperson said: “She may be a cougar, but that’s not helping fur-loving Demi Moore in the eyes of animal lovers.”

The organization also criticizes Ashton for wearing a coyote coat at the Sundance Film Festival.

Other stars also in the running for worst dressed celebrity include “4 Minutes” singer Madonna, Jessica Simpson, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kanye West, Lindsay Lohan, the Olsen Twins, Mary J. Blige, and Kate Moss.

Slamming the contenders in the latest short list, PETA said: “This year, you will find most of the usual cold-hearted, tacky offenders, because any celebs who really matter just don’t wear dead animal skins.”

People are invited to vote for their “worst offender” on Peta.org until March 2.

Last year, soul legend Aretha Franklin made the top spot on the list, followed by Lindsay, Kate and Marilyn Manson.

Jessica Simpson is expanding – into the clothing world.

The singer, who caught a wave of criticism two weeks ago for wearing a pair of “mom jeans” and a double leopard print belt on stage, has designed a line of dresses for women of all shapes.

“I want to create clothes that flatter every figure. I know how a dress can make you feel so frumpy. I promise mine won’t,” Jessica told the March issue of In Style magazine.

Jessica already has a successful shoe line under her belt and she is now hoping her clothing designs will find favor with women as well.

“We want to reach every type of person – and we do. But mainly I’m all about you wearing the dress, not the dress wearing you,” she said. “I know what flatters a woman, and trust me, I’ve been judged a lot in my life. By now I know what works if you’re curvy.”

Jessica, who has refrained from commenting on her own curvier figure since the “mom jeans” incident,” told In Style that she wants to make women feel confident in her clothes.

“If my clothing and accessories make you feel great and let you walk proud and tall — in big, big platform shoes – then I’m happy,” she said.

The “New in Town” actress donned the unflattering outfit as a tribute to her hit film “Bridget Jones’ Diary.”

She was also made to spoof her voice over animation work to prove to Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals troupe she was worthy of the accolade.

Accepting the traditional pudding pot prize, Renee said: “This is the nicest doorstop I’ve ever had.”

Attired in a black and beige “sherwani” or Indian-style coat with intricate ethnic motifs at the hemline and sequin work at the collars, the star walked the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) ramp for designer Arjun Khanna.

The sherwani was tastefully teamed with beige churidar and red scarf to give a dramatic effect, the actor’s face and hair were painted golden.

“Before I came here I didn’t know that my face would be painted golden. Only when I reached the venue and sat on a chair (backstage) to get the make-up done, I got to know about it. But I enjoyed the whole experience,” Ranbir said.

He refused to comment on his romantic link-up with Deepika. Starting with his signature dance step from the title song of Saawariya, Ranbir descended on the ramp.

And then he spotted Deepika sitting next to his mother Neetu Singh. Cutting short his catwalk, he blew a flying kiss towards her. Deepika blushed and hid her face behind her cascade of hair.

Unlike his contemporaries, Ranbir did not take expert advice from his ladylove, who was a model by profession. “No I did not take any tips from Deepika before walking the ramp. I had never walked the ramp before. It was the first time for me but I was quite confident. It proved to be an excellent experience,” Ranbir said.

Bollywood actress Amisha Patel, who recently broke off with her director-boyfriend Vikram Bhatt, was spotted with a tall, young man, rumoured to be her new boyfriend, on the first day of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) here. The actress attended style guru Namrata Joshipura’s and designer duo Gauri and Nainika Karan’s show Wednesday.

The actress, flaunting a bright orange knee-length dress, wasn’t present at the WIFW for any specific designer or fashion show.

“I think all designers are equally good and I am not here for any particular designer,” she said.

Actress Bipasha Basu, who recently cut her hair really short, surprised audiences at the ongoing Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Wednesday by sporting her signature long tresses once again while walking the ramp for designer duo Gauri and Nainika Karan.

‘See how wonderful stylists are today! In the morning I had short hair and now I have long hair,’ Bipasha told.

‘I had to revert to my long tresses because it was important for the look,’ she said.

Asked about her association with the designers, she said: ‘I have a very close association with Gauri and Nainika and they have made me look beautiful on many occasions.’

‘They are two little dynamites, who are very talented and their clothes are very elegant and royal,’ she added.

The show saw a series of lavish romantic gowns, with Bipasha setting the ramp ablaze in a blush pink ‘Cinderella’ dress, having an empire cut bustier and a velvet band across her left shoulder.

It opened with a model dressed in a soft, merino wool and tweed attire with subtle, pared-down cuts. The show saw plush duchesse satin folded, pleated, darted, draped, bunched-up and ballooned in strong silhouettes.

‘We started with muted brown and subtle shades to first appeal to an audience, which is not comfortable sporting bright and vivid colours,’ Gauri said after the show, which also had Bollywood actor Amisha Patel in audience.

Rich black velvet bands were used throughout the entire line, giving it a sharp and tailored edge. Golden and scarlet roses delicately woven into wispy black fabric brought an element of fairy tale fantasy to dresses in feminine cuts.

‘Our collection is very feminine, rich, strong, sexy, glamorous and structured. However, we didn’t draw inspiration from a single subject but a variety of them. This time we just did what we wanted,’ the designer said.

The palette had colours ranging from magenta, blood red and pink to acid green black and white.

Fabrics like satin, velvet, tulle and lace were used to design A-line dresses paired with shorts or pants.

‘The use of these fabrics signifies opulence,’ she explained.

A lawsuit launched against Teri Hatcher by a cosmetics firm will be sent to arbitration after a Los Angeles judge ruled in her favour.

Beauty company Hydroderm lodged a £2 million lawsuit against the Desperate Housewives actress, suing her for breach of contract, after they claimed she had promoted other beauty products while signed up to them.

The star, who was paid £2.4 million to promote Hydroderm products, insists her promotion of CityLips’ lip plumper did not affect the deal, and that management changes constantly left her unsure of the terms of her conract.

And Hatcher’s lawyers have successfully persuaded a judge to move the case to arbitration, meaning the matter will now be settled out of court.

‘Sex And The City’ star Sarah Jessica Parker has instigated a scornful attack on low-rise denim trousers claiming they are just too provocative.

The four times Golden Globe Award winning actress has admitted that she will never be seen in crotch-skimming jeans.

“(I won’t wear) super low-rise jeans. There is not going to be any inappropriate midriff showing regardless of age,” Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

She adds, “A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn’t make you beautiful. … To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini – put it on and stay strong.”

The Spice Girl will be the face of Jacobs’ Spring/Summer 2008 collection, according to the Mirror.

R&B singer Beyonce Knowles has revealed that blaming her clothes for the tumbles she takes wouldn’t be fair because she is used to taking a spill every now and then.

The 26-year-old singer, who slipped and fell during a concert in Orlando in July, said that she her clothes are not responsible for her falls.

“I recently fell down the stairs, because my heel got caught in the hem of my coat. But really, I’ve fallen down the stairs a lot of times, so I can’t only blame it on the coat,” she said.

However, Knowles is confident that she would not fall when it comes to her three-year-old fashion business with mum Tina Knowles, although the inspiration for their dress designs often arrives in unexpected ways.

“Usually, I call months before and tell my mom, ‘I woke up from this dream. I was wearing gold and I was a robot’. And she’s like, ‘Okay you’re crazy, but I’m going to make it happen’. So she makes about 50 robot suits and we choose from those,” Knowles added.

Actress Sienna Miller has had enough of freebies and has begged fashion designers to stop sending her free clothes, as they are making her home look untidy.

The star is annoyed with the bundles of clothes and hundreds of unwanted shoes and bags that are cluttering her basement.

Fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has confirmed, perhaps inadvertently, that Jennifer Lopez is pregnant.

He told People magazine that Lopez “is waiting for the baby.”

“It is so complicated because every week she is getting bigger,” Cavalli said Tuesday on the magazine’s Web site.

Cavalli created free-flowing outfits for Lopez, who has been on tour with her husband, Marc Anthony.

Cavalli’s comment came after weeks of speculation, tabloid baby-bump pictures and raised eyebrows.

Lopez, 39, has declined comment. A telephone message left yesterday for her publicist, Nancy Ryder, wasn’t returned.

Mekhi Phifer, who plays Dr. Greg Pratt on NBC’s ER, and his fiancee, Oni Souratha, welcomed their first child together Tuesday morning in Los Angeles, reports People.
The boy, Mekhi Thira Phifer, weighed 5 pounds, 4 ounces.

“We are really happy and excited,” say the couple. “He is beautiful.”

Phifer has an 8-year-old son, Omikaye, from his previous marriage to actress Malinda Williams.

Hollywood film and television composer Danny Elfman (Batman, Edward Scissorhands) will make his first venture into ballet with a score for a new dance by contemporary choreographer Twyla Tharp. The work will receive its premiere by American Ballet Theatre in New York in June.
The new piece, which Elfman unofficially calls “Ballet Uno,” lasts about 45 minutes and was commissioned by ABT and the Orange County Performing Artscenter in Costa Mesa, Calif. The new piece also will feature costumes by fashion designer Norma Kamali.

Sheriff’s officials are investigating whether Pierce Brosnan, 54, assaulted a man in Malibu, Calif., last week.
Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, said the incident allegedly occurred outside a Mexican restaurant Friday night. He identified the alleged victim as Robert Rosen. Rosen couldn’t be reached for comment.

Whitmore said Brosnan wasn’t arrested or detained.

Messages left Tuesday for Brosnan’s publicist, Jennifer Allen, weren’t returned.
