David Beckham posed with a big bear before popping in to visit the kids at the Children’s Hospital in LA yesterday.

Becks and Shakira were there to cheer up the pint-sized patients with a few stuffed dogs.

David kept a smile on his face throughout the afternoon, even though the last few times on the soccer field have been a little rough for the star player. Victoria has been on the East Coast after Monday’s appearance on The View, but a family reunion might be just what David needs to get back on top of his game.

David Beckham hit the links with some of his Galaxy teammates in Fullerton, CA yesterday.

Becks got in more trouble during his game over the weekend, but this time he was defending a fellow Galaxy player during a dispute.

After that stress, David looked happy to take on a different sport and one of his favorite hobbies, golf.

He jokingly got a little angry when he missed some shots, but overall it was a fun day away from the soccer field, which has recently been a slightly rocky place for David.

David Beckham touched down in London on Monday, and yesterday afternoon he was suited up for a practice session with the English team in the nearby city of St. Albans.

A demanding soccer schedule means lots of traveling for David and sadly missing out on some big things back home with his boys, like Romeo’s 7th birthday celebrations.

David Beckham arrived in Washington DC on Thursday and he took the field there Saturday with the Galaxy against DC United.

The game ended in a 0-0 tie, with David returning after last weekend’s red card.

Brooklyn and Cruz are holding down the fort in LA, while Victoria is off handling some work in London with Romeo.

The family enjoys their special time together, and hopefully the fivesome will be reunited soon for more California fun. Surprisingly, David didn’t make it to our shirtless bracket final four — but check out who did here!

David Beckham took the field with the English soccer team last night for a friendly match against the Dutch team in Amsterdam.

He joined the squad for a practice session on Monday, showing off some of the moves that apparently have AC Milan wanting him back next year.

That news isn’t going to go over too well with some of the unhappy Galaxy fans back in LA, but the Beckham family seems always on the move anyway.

Victoria is off again to film another installment of American Idol, this time heading with Simon and the gang to auditions in Boston.

So, apparently there was some sort of rumor going around last week that über-hottie David Beckham
was going to take a break from posing for underwear ads with his hot
wife and cuddle up next to an even hotter (yeah, we said it!) Angelina Jolie for Armani.

Sadly, this is not to be.

“You know, she wouldn’t do it and I wouldn’t do it,” he said. “At the end of the day, I wouldn’t do it because I’m married.”

Oh, come on! We’re sure Posh wouldn’t mind!

The Beckham family made the most of their first weekend together back in the states with a fun-filled Saturday in the sun.

First, David stepped into cement to kick off the ADIDAS Footprint Fields community program before watching the Galaxy take on Chivas USA with Victoria and the boys.

Judging from David’s ear-to-ear grin he seems happy to be stateside with his family again, and today he’ll be on the field for his first game of Summer with his LA team.

The world’s most famous soccer star and hubby of Posh Spice was today awarded “substantial” damages in London’s High Court from a U.K. tabloid that published a false story claiming he “made a play” for model Mariann Fogarasy.

Per the BBC, Express Group Newspapers was forced to issue a retraction and apologize to the 34-year-old Beckham and his family after its Daily Star reported he sent emails to the Hungarian-born beauty inviting her to a “private party” after they met at an AC Milan soccer match.

Newspaper rep Kate Wilson acknowledged the fabricated tale—featured on the Star’s front page and website with the headline “Becks and the Blonde Beauty: Topless Model Claims She Was Chatted Up by Footie Star”—caused the Beckhams embarassment, distress and inury. The newspaper will also pick up his legal bills.

David Beckham’s luxury cars lost nearly $280,000 in value last year.

The British soccer star’s fleet of exclusive vehicles decreased in worth by an estimated $254,500 in 2008 – more than any other celebrity.

A survey of celebrity motorists by Britain’s leading pay-as-you-go rental company City Car Club named Beckham the biggest victim of depreciation, followed by fellow soccer players Steven Gerrard, who lost more than $224,500, and Rio Ferdinand, who lost $221,700.

In just 12 months Beckham’s two Bentleys decreased in value by more than $168,000 his Hummer H2 by $77,000, and his Lamborghini by $46,500.

Other celebrities to appear in the top 10 include “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell, who lost more than $220,300 and Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay whose 25 deluxe motors decreased by a combined $209,000.

50 Cent, Justin Timberlake, soccer stars William Gallas and Wayne Rooney and British comic actor Rowan Atkinson also appear on the list.

City Car Club claim the credit crunch has affected the luxury car market so badly the average depreciation of top brands has swelled to about 40 per cent in the first year.

David Beckham is renting George Clooney’s Italian villa.

The British soccer star – who has been on loan to AC Milan from his current team Los Angeles Galaxy – is living in the “Ocean’s Eleven” actor’s plush home by Lake Como.

David is believed to be using the villa while George – who recently visited refugee camps in Sudan’s war-wracked Darfur region – is away working.

The pair struck up a friendship after they were introduced by fashion designer Giorgio Armani at last year’s New York Met Ball.

David and George became closer when the soccer star moved to Italy earlier this year, with George agreeing to show him around the country and introduce him to people.

David, 33, has previously spoken of his admiration for George, admitting the 47-year-old star’s handsome looks helped him come to terms with his own graying hair.

He said: “I’ve noticed a bit of gray, but as long as it’s George Clooney gray I don’t mind. George is one of the most handsome men in the world.”

Nicole Kidman wants football star David Beckham to appear in her new movie Australia as a “hunky labourer”, according to reports.

The actress watched Beckham play for his team LA Galaxy recently and was impressed with his muscular physique.

A source said: “Nicole thinks David would be perfect to play a labourer in the film, and director Baz Luhrmann agrees.

“It would only be a small part and Nicole is hoping David might consider it.”

Victoria Beckham was left terrified after a stalker prowled the grounds of her Los Angeles home.

The Spice Girl’s security team were alerted after they heard suspicious rustling in the bushes of the Beverly Hills mansion. Her bodyguards attempted to catch the intruder but the trespasser managed to evade them. The Spice Girl was in the mansion on her own, after husband David had taken their three sons, Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, five, and two-year-old Cruz to watch his soccer team, the Los Angeles Galaxy play.

A spokesman for Victoria said: “There was a man in the bushes. Security didn’t catch him but he has been tracked down since. I am not sure if any action will be taken, but the house is secure and he didn’t get close to the family.”

Last month, the couple endured a separate scare after a female fan managed to get past David’s security cordon and reach his hotel room. Although she didn’t get into his room, it left the couple worried about their safety.

A source said: “It was like something out of a stalker film. She was using her feminine wiles but everyone was worried about the intense look in her eyes.”

“It’s still not clear if this was an attempt by the girl to have a romantic liaison with David or whether she actually wanted to do him some harm.”

If there’s one person who doesn’t know who Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is, then it would be none other than troubled singer Britney Spears.

Posh and hubby David Beckham had stepped into trendy restaurant the Chateau Marmont for dinner and the two bumped into Spears, who was also dining there.

Posh took the initiative and introduced herself to Britney, but a source reveals that the ‘Toxic’ singer gave her the brush off.

“They bumped into each other in the Chateau Marmont and Victoria said, ‘Hi Britney. I’m Victoria from the Spice Girls,’” The Sun quoted a source, as saying.

“But Britney had no idea who she was. She just looked at her with a vacant and bemused expression and turned and walked away,” the source added.

Britney’s snub of Posh is being seen as another sign that she is in a precarious state of mind right now, for though Becks is a new phenomena in the US, the Spice Girls were huge in the States.
