Britney Spears has been ordered to read the Bible for an hour a day.

The “Womanizer” singer’s father Jamie – who as co-conservator of her estate has full control of Britney’s affairs – has issued the star with a string of rules to ensure she doesn’t go off the rails on her “The Circus Starring Britney Spears” tour.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Jamie is determined nothing can go wrong with Britney’s comeback.”

“He’s making sure she reads the Bible for at least an hour during her quiet time before she goes on stage and has banned her from using the internet.”

“He is even monitoring what she eats by insisting on none of her beloved junk food on the rider.”

“He’s stopping her from leaving her hotel unless accompanied by a security guard and even though she gets on much better with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, she isn’t allowed to speak to him without Jamie or her manager there.”

Despite Jamie’s strict orders, it seems as if his daughter – who was hospitalized last year following a breakdown – has already found a way to flout his rules.

Fans at her show in New York last week were stunned to see the toned torso she had showed off on the opening night of her tour in Louisiana has already disappeared.

Despite her energetic dance routine, the 27-year-old-star had a roll of fat hanging over her skimpy belly-dancer costume as she performed “Me Against The Music.”

One fan said: “Britney moves around loads on stage but she’s clearly carrying extra weight – perhaps someone should think about altering her costumes.”

Just hours before taking the stage, pop singer Britney Spears made a surprise visit to a group of sick children at Miami Children’s Hospital.

The 27-year-old Spears posed for photos with the children on Saturday.

She’s also donating $100,000 to the Big Apple Circus Clown Care program, which brings clowns to young hospital patients.

Spears played at the American Airlines Arena in Miami as part of her “Circus” tour.

The tour to support her hit album of the same name kicked off last week before a nearly sold-out crowd in New Orleans.

Spears last toured in 2004.

Britney Spears will be sawed in half as part of her upcoming stage show.

The 27-year-old singer will be a magician’s assistant during her “Circus” tour – which kicks off in March – working with “Misfit of Magic” illusionist-and-comedian Ed Alonzo.

Ed said: “Right away, she got into the boxes and into the magic contraptions to learn the stuff, and she’s so excited about this tour and all the elements that are in it.”

“We’re going to be doing the classics of magic but a little high-tech. We’ll be doing a little dissection, transposition, a vanish and an appearance.”

Ed has specially developed each trick and says Britney will have to put her body on the line for several difficult sequences.

He added: “If I do a trick, she doesn’t just hold the props, she’s actually getting inside the big boxes or I am slicing her up.”

“I made the tricks really easy for her, but there are some complicated things that she is doing that you would think a contortionist would have to do, or a trained magician’s assistant.”

“But because she’s a dancer, it really makes sense to put her in the magic, and it works and she’s really, really good at it.”

Ed refused to reveal which of Britney’s songs will accompany their appearance together, but did reveal the three-ring circus set for the concerts will amaze fans.

He told “E!” News: “It’s like watching a big Cirque du Soleil high-tech circus, but with a really focused star in the middle of all of this. It’s going to be an amazing concert for people to watch.”

Meanwhile, Britney’s ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib is facing three felony charges – assault with a deadly weapon, hit-and-run and battery – over claims he drove his Mercedes at an unnamed victim.

It is alleged the victim was serving Adnan with a temporary restraining from Britney’s father Jamie, at the time of the incident.

If convicted, Adnan faces up to seven years in prison.

British paparazzo Adnan reportedly told friends last month he is Britney’s boyfriend, despite her obtaining a restraining order against him last week.

According to Heat magazine, a source claims Adnan – who has not been seen with the “Womanizer” singer in over a year – said: “I still love Britney. I’m her boyfriend.”

“Britney has a beautiful soul. We share something really special. The truth about us will come out eventually, but it’s not for me to talk about. I love her.”

Adnan’s relationship with Britney, 27, was quickly curtailed when Britney’s father Jamie became her co-conservator – and was placed in control of her money and affairs – in February last year.

In the same month, Adnan was given his first temporary order requiring him to stay at least 250 yards away from Britney – who was hospitalized at the time at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for observation.

Adnan abided by its terms until July when the order expired and wasn’t renewed.

However, Britney gained another temporary order against Adnan and her former manager Sam Lutfi which accused them both of trying to “disrupt” the conservatorship order earlier this month.

A hearing has been scheduled for February 23 which will review the restraining order.

Being under the strict gaze of her father is proving to be tough for Britney Spears, with new reports claiming the troubled-singer was forced to hatch a secret meeting with pal Alli Sims.

The Gimme More singer – who is banned from seeing Sims by her father, and conservator, Jamie – met the struggling pop-star in a dressing room at the Fred Segal boutique in West Hollywood on Friday

According to E! News, Spears – who coordinated the meeting via text message – arrived at the store shortly after Sims – and the pair spoke and shopped briefly before going their separate ways.

The American TV network goes on to claim that Sims later confirmed the meeting, saying the pair “had fun” but refused to comment on the whereabouts of the Toxic singer’s former – and wanted – sidekick, Sam Lufti.

Spears’ father still hold’s temporary control over the singer’s legal and financial affairs until the next court hearing which is scheduled for March 10.

Britney Spears has allegedly married her snapper beau Adnan Ghalib in a hush-hush ceremony, says American reports.

Star magazine has claimed that the 26-year-old singer married paparazzo Ghalib during their trip to Mexico on 9th Jan.

“While in Mexico , they went through a quickie marriage ceremony, The Daily Telegraph quoted a source, as telling the publication.

The source also revealed: “When Britney recently accused her mother of ’sleeping with my husband’, it wasn’t Kevin she was talking about – it was Adnan!”

The duo reportedly tied the knot just days after Britney was first taken to hospital, following a stand-off with police at her home.

However, the marriage is illegal because Ghalib is already married. When the Toxic star realised that, she initially dumped Adnan in fury. But later she gave him 273,000 dollars to accelerate his divorce so they could wed for real, according to Star.

“He is promising her that they’d get married again once his divorce is final,” said the source.

The alleged marriage happened when the couple managed to dodge the media caravan that follows their every move and drove to Rosarito Beach Hotel in Mexico .

She is now trying to stage a comeback, performing for the first time in more than three years this month with a series of 15-minute nightclub shows and reportedly working on her fifth album. Spears said she hoped her letter would make people “think a little bit more of me and where I am coming from.”
