Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes threw a fairytale princess-themed birthday party for their daughter yesterday.

The couple invited their family and closest friends to their Los Angeles home to celebrate Suri turning three.

A source said: “They just wanted to keep it small and make it fun for Suri and her friends.”

As well as sparing no expense on her party, Tom and Katie are spending $1 million on her education.

The couple are so desperate to ensure their child has a well-rounded upbringing, they have splashed out on classes including foreign language, art and dance.
A source said: “It doesn’t matter what Suri is doing, Tom wants her to be able to do it better than any other child. All parents think that their kids are special, but Tom and Katie firmly believe Suri is gifted.”

“She is learning French and Spanish and has a tutor she sees once a week.”

“Suri has shown a real love of dancing, so Tom and Katie are encouraging her as much as possible. She practices ballet, tap and modern dance for hours, nearly every day.”

Victoria Beckham has thrown her son Brooklyn a lavish 10th birthday party.

The former Spice Girl organized a celebration at Los Angeles indoor skate park Skatelab complete with pizzas, presents and plenty of guests on Wednesday (March 4, 2009).

Brooklyn’s brothers Romeo, six, and Cruz, four, attended the party, along with Gwen Stefani’s two-year-old son Kingston.

Wearing casual T-shirts, shorts and trainers the guests spent the day playing and eating treats as Victoria looked on.

Brooklyn’s soccer star husband David – who is currently on loan to AC Milan from his usual team Los Angeles Galaxy – was unable to join in the festivities as he was in Doha, Qatar, preparing for an exhibition match against Al Sadd.

The skating-themed party was the latest treat Victoria has arranged for her children.

Earlier in the week she took them for a thrill-packed day out at Universal Studios, where the boys ventured onto a free-fall simulation ride.

Victoria – who didn’t participate – stunned onlookers by wearing a figure-hugging black dress and five-inch Christian Louboutin heels.

A source said at the time: “Victoria’s feet looked almost out of shape. Her toes were squashed down at the bottom of the shoe and her ankles were forced forward.”

Brad Pitt received an extra- special gift from partner Angelina Jolie on his 44 th birthday – a 100,000-dollar personalized motorcycle.

The bike was engraved with a tribute to Pitt’s favourite musician, Jeff Buckley.

The front handlebars have a plague that reads “My Sweetheart, the Drunk”, the name of Buckley’s album, reports Contactmusic.

The actor, who turned 44 on Dec 18, was seen taking the bike for a spin earlier this week, after taking delivery of it before his birthday.

Meanwhile Jolie praised Pitt for being a hero during her mother’s death.

The ‘Tomb Raider’ star recently revealed how Pitt helped her through the grief of losing her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who died in January this year.

“Brad sat with me and held her hand. After, he spent the night asking me and my brother about our mum and got us to tell funny stories about her,” she told the Mirror.

Courtney Love was at Paris Hilton’s 26th birthday party recently, and on her website reported spotting a “mountain” of “white powder” in the restaurant bathroom, before taking down the claim later. (Remember the last scene from scarface )

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the post on Courtney’s website included Courtney saying: “I went into the bathroom and there was a mountain of – gee, well – it was powder and it was white. Wonder if it was sugar?”

The paper reports that last night (Tuesday March 6) Courtney’s people denied the post had ever appeared, and there is no evidence of the post today, though photos of Courtney and her daughter Frances Bean at the party are still up.

The publication also reveals details of the after party that took place at Paris’ home.

On entering, guests were given silver pens to sign messages on a giant portrait of Paris. In the living room – as well as another huge portrait of Paris – there was also a full sized lap dancing pole for Paris to show off her infamous ‘moves’, and another massive portrait of the heiress in the dining room.

So what were the Paris sleeping quarters like? Unfortunately we may never find out, as security guards prevented all but Paris’ inner circle from venturing upstairs.

“Family and friends” of Taylor booked the Medici Cafe and Terrace for the closed party at the Ritz-Carlton, hotel spokeswoman Marina Nicola said.

The guest list remained secret, but 75 people were expected for dinner and cake at the resort, which is 17 miles east of the Las Vegas Strip.

“An official list has not been released but guests will be arriving shortly after Dame Elizabeth,” Nicola said.

Queen Elizabeth II made the British-born Taylor a dame, the equivalent of a knight, in 2000.

Taylor’s closest friends include Michael Jackson, whose spokeswoman confirmed Tuesday in a press release that he is now living in Las Vegas.

The Academy Award-winning actress, who uses a wheelchair because of back problems, last year dismissed tabloid reports that she was being treated for early Alzheimer’s disease or was gravely ill.

Oil heir, noted wordsmith, and parachute enthusiast Brandon Davis made Paris Hilton cry at her 26th birthday party, and drove Courtney Love and Paula Abdul to flee the premises.

Things were going well at Hilton’s dinner party at L.A.’s Prime Grill until 10 p.m. rolled around and Davis started acting up.

“He was hurling flowers at Paula Abdul,” a guest tells the New York Daily News. “Then he began bombing her with Styrofoam flower-holders. He was shouting, ‘Lick my [BLEEP], Paula!’ He started mocking her ancestry by speaking gibberish in an Arabic accent.

Abdul, who was supposed to sing “Happy Birthday,” made an early exit.

Davis then turned on Courtney Love.

“He lifted her up so that she was straddling his waist,” says a witness. “Her Chanel dress was riding up. Brandon was saying, ‘I want to squirt on you.’ He was humping Courtney in front of her daughter, Frances Bean. When he put her down, Courtney grabbed Frances and they marched out of the restaurant through the kitchen.”

His antics didn’t stop there. “He was knocking over glasses and candles on the table,” says a source.

After Davis was “encouraged to leave,” Paris blew out the candles on her cake and everyone headed to an after-party at her house.

“Incredibly, Brandon showed up at Paris’ place,” says a source. “Security guided him downstairs. They were under orders to keep him away from Paris.”

Okay. I want to squirt on you?? Seriously, who says that? And racism to boot? Why does anyone hang out with this twerp? Dude is terrible.

You have to give him a teensy bit of credit, though. Anyone who can actually extract human emotion from Paris Hilton and also manage to faze Courtney Love deserves a small tip of the hat.
