Amy Winehouse has been invited to sing at a party thrown by Hollywood royalty George Clooney and Julia Roberts.
The BACK TO BLACK songstress will reportedly be paid £500,000 to serenade the A-list stars present at an event hosted by Giorgio Armani.
The May event is set to take place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume.
A source told the Mirror that Amy was shocked by the request, adding “she hasn’t really taken it in – and keeps saying that her life is getting more surreal by the second”.

British criminals have threatened to kidnap troubled star Amy Winehouse, according to reports. The singer is reported to be at the centre of a plot masterminded by prisoners at London’s Pentonville Prison to kidnap the star, unless husband and fellow inmate Blake Fielder-Civil pays them a $200,000 (GBP100,000) ransom.

Amy Winehouse is desperate to go to prison so she can empathise with husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
The troubled star – who was arrested on Tuesday (18.12.07) before being released on police bail – has been spiralling out of control ever since Blake was arrested and sent to prison last month.
Now Amy is intent on being put behind bars as she believes it will bring her closer to her husband.
A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “It’s almost like she wants to get herself jailed so she can feel how Blake feels and in that way feel closer to him.

A representative for Amy Winehouse has said the troubled singer is keen on performing at the Grammy awards, in spite of her health concerns.
The Rehab star recently shelved planned performances on her UK tour as she seeks time-off to deal with her husband’s problems with the law. Winehouse’s spouse, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently on remand in Pentonville Prison having allegedly attempted to bribe a barman he is accused of attacking.
People magazine cites a representative for the neo-soul crooner as saying that Winehouse is currently enrolled on a programme to help her recover her health and is writing a lot of music.

The mother of singer Amy Winehouse has written an open letter to her daughter advising her to “stop, think and take stock” of her life.
Janis Winehouse, 52, has urged her troubled daughter to seek help from her family after the Rehab star cancelled her UK tour.
Amy’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently on remand in Pentonville Prison having allegedly attempted to bribe a barman he is accused of attacking.
And though the singer received six Grammy nominations this week, her mother has urged her down to slow down, saying that “early fame has overwhelmed you, it’s dizzied you and muddled your mind”.

Singer Amy Winehouse and her hubby Blake Fielder- Civil have reportedly checked into rehab to get treatment for heroin addiction.
The move came after the two realised that their respective families had a showdown discussing their children’s drug-related problems.
After witnessing the showdown the two flew to the US for treatment on August 11.
A source close to Winehouse said that the singer was really upset after seeing her parents take on her in-laws in an argument about their addiction.
“It broke Amy’s heart to see her parents and in-laws fighting. That was the point when she realised all the drink and drugs were causing huge problems for everybody,” the Mirror quoted the source, as saying.
