
Actress Cameron Diaz has thanked her fans for being supportive while she is grieving for her father.
The Charlie’s Angels star’s dad Emilio Diaz, 58, passed away on Tuesday due to complications which arose from pneumonia.
A statement released by Cameron noted that she and her family are “deeply appreciative of the overwhelming outpouring of love and support during this difficult time”.
It is thought that she many be absent from the premiere of her latest film – What Happens In Vegas – which is scheduled to take place on April 22nd.
Production on her latest movie My Sister’s Keeper has been halted.
The actress, who is best-known for her comedic roles in films such as There’s Something About Mary and Shrek, also praised her late father’s sense of humour, saying it will “live on in our hearts”.
What Happens In Vegas also stars Ashton Kutcher and sees the pair playing a couple who find themselves married after a wild night out in Vegas.
