Cameron Diaz’s Beau’s ‘Secret Wife’ Revealed!
Cameron Diaz’s new beau, illusionist Chriss Angel might have some explaining to do, especially after the news that he has a ’secret’ wife.
Joanne Sarantakos, has gone to court in Long Island, New York, claiming she has been married to Angel for the past five years.
Sarantakos is now suing her hubby for divorce, and her lawyer Dominic Barbara revealed to the court that the magician had kept her a “secret” to further his career.
The jilted blonde is also planning to subpoena Diaz as soon as she returns to New York.
“We’re naming Cameron Diaz as his lover. We will subpoena her as soon as she comes back to New York,” People quoted Barbara, as telling Newsday.
Michael Winkhart, Joanne Sarantakos’s brother, told Newsday, that her family was furious with the way Angel had treated her.
“He really played the ‘Mindfreak’ game on her. He reduced her to a role where she occupied less than 5 percent of his life,” he said.
Joanne’s father, Richard Winkhart, angrily said after the hearing that the magician’s personal life is an ‘illusion.’
“When his career took a jump forward, he became a different person. My daughter was never acknowledged as his wife. He told her it was a better single image, than a married image,” he said.
Sarantakos has also told the court that earning millions of pounds, he refused to pay her household expenses – an allegation that Angel’s lawyer Elliot Weiner dismissed.
“The notion that she’s not being supported is simply not accurate,” Elliot Weiner said.
Angel’s lawyer, Elliot Weiner, did not deny the adultery allegation, and Diaz’s rep was not available for comments.
