BEYONCE STILL FLIES ECONOMY CLASS
Beyonce Knowles still flies economy class.The “Crazy in Love” singer – who along with husband Jay-Z is worth millions of dollars – insists she doesn’t mind shunning the elite seats to sit with the general public when she travels.
She is quoted as saying: “Even now I sometimes fly economy if I need to.”
“We had a storm in Miami and there was a hurricane coming so we just got out.”
“You know the airlines where if you’re fifth in line, you sit in seat five?”
“And then they throw a peanut at you with your drink? I don’t care about those kind of things.”
However, the 27-year-old star admitted there are some reasons why she prefers first class, including a greater degree of privacy.
Beyonce – who recently traveled to Japan for a promotional appearance with her sister Solange – added: “It’s just that people don’t give me peace in economy, that’s the hardest thing.”
