Rumer Willis has been cast in hit US TV show ”Army Wives.”

The 20-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore - who can soon be seen in “The House Bunny,” a comedy set in Hugh Hefner’s Los Angeles’ Playboy mansion - will play the wife of a young soldier injured in Iraq in one episode.

Rumer’s appearance on the show will be aired in the US on TV network Lifetime on October 12.

The actress - who is to be Miss Golden Globe at this year’s awards, a role traditionally given to the child of a famous star - recently revealed starring in “The House Bunny” was a “massive learning experience” and she enjoyed working with “Scary Movie” actress Anna Faris.

She said: “I’m fortunately lucky, because I got to work with Anna Faris. It was really cool.”

“It’s been very different and I have to say, probably the biggest learning experience I’ve ever had, just to be able to do it and all the responsibility is on you. I felt very grateful to be a part of it.”
